this one i also not sure ler ... but someone has told me before when i use my old 10 years old wira .

an old mechanic told me , ask me to clean my engine bay , cos got a lot of dirt , after i clean it , very obvious , the power do slightly increased , maybe due to weight , another thing is that , cleaner engine bay maybe will improve air circulation , lighter , less heat due to dirt , i think that will help for old car , new car not sure ler ... but it is a good thing to keep the the engine clean right ...

for motorbike , that will really helps , because i got an Kawasaki 150 CC , which i also will clean it sometimes being , and results , the engine perform better .

Just some sharing, forgive me if i being ignorant .

i repaint myself ..

using silofon tape , touch up paint and brush ...

my case is i got a deep scratch , quite big , around 2cm diameter , i use the tape to stick around the scratch , rectangle shape , use brush and paint within the retangle , wait it dry , apply clear cot , remove tape .

then use the rubbing compund to rub the edge of the rectangle till the egde not visible , polish it with a bigger diameter to blend the new paint and old paint , so in the end , the results still ok , if u don see it carefully , hardly know that scracth are is repainted . But this required much patience and trial error . I tried more than 5 times to get it right ...

Just sharing , if the scratch is too deep or big , may try it .. If is small , then not worth of trying .

I tried few places , bumper , body of car, i would say if work not so well so bumber , but body part is perfect .

where do you change ? How much ? what do you mod ? care to share here ?


if i only want to mod certain part like spoiler , side moulding , fog light ? can it be done ?

Cos i went some workshop , all come in package one , fulllset body kit , about 4k ... war ...cannot afford

it is not normal ..but viva yes , normal .. even u set it to be mid to face and leg , the air will go 90% to leg ... face can feel little bit only .. i think the switch is not accurate as the indicator ... there is only open to leg or open to face , don have such thing as face+leg ... lousy feature , or shall i said setting .

i been seacrhing for this sound since i got my car few months ago , 1st i thought i from engine ..but it is not ... engine got different sound , it actually come from the interior which is make of plastic ... like those plastic cover underneath , from the dash board...

u try to see the dash board, under it, there is a lot of plastic cover where do not join properly ... i treid to fix it ... but after few days , loosen again ...

my fren thought i am crazy cos they do not heard the sound ... i heard ... tick tick tick ... all the time , but later on u will also hear from engine got tick tick tick , something is loosen , wiring part .. .i am tired of it d ..

if u see my previous post , already mentioned and asking all in the forum..not surprise if u discover it .. haha...

Added on March 29, 2008, 12:39 ami think for normal case it just that the insulation of engine bay is not good , so if u r driving quietly , u can hear ratling sound , especially , u r driving manual viva , with high gear low speed , then it will rattling sound is moe obvious , i experiences that cos i am lazy changing to low gear, so just use cluth to push the car , ...haha ...nothing serious one

mine last time i use premium model insurance while mine actually is standard one ... so i paid higher lo , about 200more because of the markup price for rm 0 downpayement ...

so this time round have to use back standard model insurance ..hopefully ...

my streering start to pulling d , and felt not precision to streer ... kind of lagging

that day went back to hometown , feel the streering is shaking , and need to hold it , it not car will start pulling ..

also , felt the streering is loosen , not precise , do alignment or balancing can help ?

i already broken mine 2 time , cos too long d , sometime parking some place where roof is too low , when reverse sure break one , and it is make of fibre ... inside got one tungsten i think ...

even with no antenna also never mind , now i using the same antenna connector head with coppoer wire(taken out from anteena - of cos the reception is not that good but acceotable ) , one antenna cost rm 25 to 30 , i already bought twice at acc shop , i heard more expensive at SC ...

the antenna is fibre one wo , bend it will crack one wor ... just like rotan like that ,

mine seems use up soon , last time i remember the manual said it got one indicator to remind u when break pad used up , i don remember what is that d , i think it is a sound from tyre there ?

hi all , what type of engine old u all using right now ... ??

1st time(1000km) - gold
2nd time(6000km) - silver(other sc from 1st time , i ask them y use silver , they said last time haven standardized, now standard)
3rd time (11000km) - going to be gold (said by 2nd SC) .

Of cos using silver is cheaper .... but somehow i think gold one performs better right ??

when u reach 1000km , next service is 6000km , next is 11000 km.

Because is next 5000km , not reach 5000km ma ...

U see properly u next time services , is adding 5000km to ur current ODO... that is y mine next services is 10700KM .

1000 km + 5000 km + 5000km , if u service ngam ngam at 1000km , next services is 1000km + 5000KM = 6000KM , then the following should be 6000km + 5000km = 11000KM . So we should services the car before reach 11000KM mileage .

If u notice , SC actually adding to current mileage for next service

when u go for services , do SC guy put a sticker at the windsreen ?

i remember last time i services at 959km , so the sticker stated next services is 5959(959+5000) ,

i went for second service at another SC at 5700km , and now the sticker show next services at 10700km(5700+5000).

Is both SC also wrong ?

I suppose next services at the green sticker means services before that xxxxxx km , am i right ?

Even u look at the manual , also saying next 5000 km , next 10000km , means current mileage + next xxxxx km .

mine 1.0 sx only 0.9 k discount , rm10 tng , one lousy streering lock but deliver fast , 6 days got the car . that is wahy now driving it like hell

very hard to get brand new car one la .. i know one place place a lot of viva , somewhere near ss2 ... there is a dealer there call motor confidence ... they got a lot viva , mine also got from there , behind the cmpnay a a big parking lot , hunderds of car there , of of myine also get from there ... cannto use one i think ... because when u do ur loan , car number chasis no already stated ..

if u wan abs ebd then go for 1000 premium , if u dont wan , please don take 1000 standard , i think 850 and 1000 not much different ....

850 no power steering , but i think better not to have power steering for small cc car , since it is small , steering is think no problem on that , but wit such small car , 1000cc u can easily hit 110 km/h , without power steering is better is terms of handling ....

so i think 850 is sufficient if u do not required to traval far frequently . 850 also can hit 110 easily , of cos 1000c can hit more , but tell u , with such a small car , u don really want to exceed 110 ..

I tested mine(1000 standard, no air bad, no abs, no ebd, 13 inch tyre ) , top speed 155 km/h at nkve ...
