just tested with a mp3 cd i burn myself, nope, cannot play
flip through the manual again, if u check in the trouble shooting section, it write there that u will get error type E-1 if u insert the wrong disc(eg: mp3,dvd)

coz older batch viva don't have tailgate alarm... (erm nt sure about the never batch 1)
yes of coz it's necessary coz ppl can enter ur car fr tailgate easily..or steal ur things, if u dun hav the alarm

u can test by locking ur door with remote
then open the tailgate by ur car key
