Recently I finished my prenatal vitamin and no time to go out to buy (pharmacy in my area don't have stock), so I took Obimin Plus (a sample I got from babycare class). It was awful, I feel nauseated after that.
My doctor started asking me to take multivitamin after Week 12 and no longer emphasize on folic acid.

HI there, your wifey is in her Week 12. So it's still folic acid

After a certain weeks, doctor will change the supplements for your baby. I am not longer taking folic acid but I heard it's good to take it for general health.

Just realized my supplements will finish by tomorrow, so we will top up the supplement by today. It only cost us RM25 for both the below supplements.

1. Obical (Calcium supplement enriched with Magnesium, Phosphorus, Vitamin D1, and FOS (fructo Oligosaccharide)

2. Obimin Pluz (pre and post natal vitamins minerals with fish oil)
I wonder what's the price the rest of you are getting from else where

i bought it when i was in australia ..not sure if malaysia have it or not
but i bought enuf to last mew few mths. then my fren coming back from aus next year will help me get more if i need more

i dont know if its better than new obimin but maybe u can compare both see which one gives u more what u needed. I was in australia during my early pregnancy n i have no supplements wif me so i end up buying from there so i can eat meantime but i bought 100 tabs so once a day enuf to last me 3 mths.
like i take elevit n it has vitamin d3 but its quite low so doc ask me to take additional vit d3 supplement

i know malaysia have blackmores pregnancy supplements and GNC also have prenatal supplements .. so u can go check it out

u can get from GNC ..my friend got hers from there.
