I googled 'android phone with display 4.0 inch' with a acceptable performance. But i could find any. Did you guys have a recommendation? If possible, i would like to have android one, not an iPhone. Doumo arigatou

Sorry to say you likely won't find any. The market trend is moving towards and favoring handsets with bigger and bigger displays, even back in 2014 there were already plenty of flagships phones moving beyond 4" display.
No handset manufacturer want to risk producing a phone with decent specs with a 5" or below display for consumers. There is simply no market for them. Your best bet is to look around for a budget phone or at least a lower-midrange one. |

Actually many android phone nowadays is slimmer but taller.
I would actually recommend used S8 or a new Redmi Note 5. |
