Specs looks ok for the price. Does it has notification LED and support WIFI AC?

RGB LED notification and Wi-Fi AC dual-band are available.

It's pointless to call your handset a "flagship" these days if it lacks Wi-Fi AC.

This smartphone is not a flasgship. So I am expecting some feature will be missing.

Is there any review mentioning RGB LED? So far all review i watch did not mentioned this feature.

Honor is actually calling it a flagship on a budget. Though I suppose it is because Honor is a sub-brand of Huawei and are separated from Huawei own lineup.

I just re-checked with someone I know in the supply chain and they mention only flash notification not the usual LED notification. So indeed there is no LED or RGB LED notification.

Are you in correct forum? Huawei and honor is 100% using EMUI.

Unless in need of super charge, it may be good for the battery life under normal fast charge ?

I wish they had bring in the red color too. My daughter's bday coming this month end. She want dual cam, fingerprint at d back & red color. As for now i can only see Oppo F9 fit those but my wallet gonna bleed.

Depend on the situation. Moderate night shot la.
Can't expect p20 Pro level quality.

For Oppo F9, check against the Telco's offering. Maybe you'll find a deal u can afford.

i think it's partly smart marketing. throw in the Band 3 and a RM100 voucher means the phone is equivalent to RM219 reduction. then the voucher u can probably use to get another Band 3 for RM19 only.

Found out an interesting fact..

8x comes in Lithium-Polymer battery, same as higher end phones such as Nova 3, P20 Pro, Mate 10 Pro.

Those lower end Huawei/Honor phones comes in Lithium ion battery as cost is comparatively cheap.

initially plan to get honor 8x. but found out that it has very limited band in USA. So decided to move to Mi A2 instead. here is my finding that may be useful:
a) Honor play - limited band
b) Honor 8x - limited band

*including 2G, 3G and 4G

AFAIK, Li-Po is still Li-Ion but packed with polimer thus have flexibility unlike Li-Ion which packed with non-polimer/plastic hardcase. The real Li-Po technology is still undergoing research.

JSN-L22, of course can but i am not sure whether 8X supports CA, as 7X do supports CA. Maxis is using either or both Interband or Intraband CA ?

dont look on 4G+. check the band use by US. Without or limited at US, it is difficult for me to use roaming and call uber. Lucky i check , almost buy the product. Only the higher mode P20 Pro has the band.

Honor 8X Max has more bands ?

I ordered from Shopee yesterday. They informed me only 800 units available on Shopee, the 1st 400 units will get all 4 free gifts (RM100 voucher, flipcover, gift box & Band 3) while the remaining 400 units will only get Band 3 & RM100 voucher. I don't know if im in the 1st 400 or not, but i think im not since i was driving that time & it delay me to make payment. I wonder shld i cancel it.



Today i went early to get myself on their tour, managed to get it. The different, voucher is RM50 but i got another extra gift, the bag. I think the gift bag is actually for Honor 10. The flipcover is nice but just a basic one without magnet. Also got myself purchased honor 10k powerbank at only RM30.

Honor 8X apparently does not support LTE CA unlike 7X. Anyone confirm by going to Mobile network settings, Advanced to verify the claim.
