Hi guys, I'm new to Time, just got it install last week, but these few days the connection has been very bad, as it was not stable, it will automatically disconnect after 2-3 minutes use, so it was like on for 2-3 minutes...then offline for 2-3 minutes, I did try everything I can to restart the modem and router and factory reset the router, but still the same issue happen. I check on the modem, whenever my connection is off, the PON light on my modem will start blinking. This is very annoying, I did call customer service and they help me to restart my connection, but same thing still happen, then customer service told me is fiber issue and will arrange for technician to call me, but after 3 days still no one call me.
The router I using is Archer C1200 and my plan is 500mbps, hope some of the master here can help me with this issue.

QUOTE(FusionXY @ Nov 18 2018, 07:21 PM) Hi. May I know which area are you in? If the LOS is blinking means no Fiber signal coming through the router. Factory reset still cannot solve? Try to create an email report. Thanks Thank you for your reply, I was staying at Old Klang Road area, on my modem, the LOS light never blink, only the PON are blinking when disconnect. I already lodge report via Time Broadband apps, and call as well, but no reply after that.

QUOTE(FusionXY @ Nov 18 2018, 07:26 PM) Try calling them tomorrow. The C1200 got show red globe? When did this happened? Thanks Yes, the C1200 will show red globe time to time, so it's up and down all the time, this happen around 4 days ago, it was fine before that, will it be the issue of I change the DNS to Google DNS? And will it be because I connect 14 smart light buld and cause the internet down? This post has been edited by yeh_chiam: Nov 18 2018, 07:29 PM

QUOTE(FusionXY @ Nov 18 2018, 07:58 PM) The PON steady on all the time? Normal is only LAN 1 blinking only. The router overloaded because the stock router's RAM is very less. Try to connect one device on one day and try. If no problems with only one device then it is overloaded. If still not satisfy with your stock router. I suggest you to get Tenda AC18. Thanks. The PON will blink time to blink... Not steady on.... I did try to disconnect all the device... Still the same thing occur, will try again the same method and see. Thank you very much for your help.

QUOTE(jjj2 @ Nov 20 2018, 08:41 AM) Hi, that is a known bug, please check again few things : 1) When the globe indicator becomes red/orange, is your line really down ? 2) Which version of firmware you are running ? This version Build 20180502 rel.45702 (official) will be the latest one at this moment, unfortunately it only reduces the problem but will Not 100% get rid of it. Thanks. Hi, thank you for responding to my issue, please see my answer below: 1)Yes, when the globe indicator turn red, the internet is down. 2) My current firmware is 20180502 rel.45702 which is the latest. Please see screenshot attached.

QUOTE(FusionXY @ Nov 20 2018, 09:41 PM) Hi, my advice to you is to hide the IP Address and Wi-Fi SSID when posting it here. The speedtest looks bad. Negative on both DL and UL. Check the RAM and CPU status on your router. Thanks. Thank you for your advice, will take note on that, please see my screenshot for the RAM and CPU status.

QUOTE(FusionXY @ Nov 20 2018, 09:53 PM) CPU load is the way too high. When the router overloads may results in frequent disconnection. Your firmware is the latest from TIME. Let our expert bro jjj2 with this case. Thanks. Thank you for pointing out the CPU load, how can I reduce it? And what the best level to maintain?
