Anybody understands their explanation (based on their FAQ at https://www.time.com.my/downloads/SST-%20Ho...0180920)V1.pdf) on the "Adjustment On Advance Charges Post Service Tax"? Im very confused and shocked at the additional cost.

Dear all, Im experiencing these strange occurrences: 1) When I open Chrome to browse any page (especially the search bar in Chrome address bar), it takes more than 8-10 seconds to load any page that I key in. Sometimes even encounter "page time out" and I have to refresh then only it will load on 2nd or 3rd attempt. 2) Google Maps on Chrome lags and as I try to put the "man" on the map, the streetview just doesnt work. Sometimes to get directions (when key in 2 locations) also got issue and does not respond. My desktop is wired to AC1200 router and currently on 500mbps (previously 100mbps package). I would also like to note that my desktop connection is via IPCOM wall wireless access point. Product in page below: https://www.ip-com.com.cn/en/product/AP265.htmlMy Chrome is always up to date. Is there any 'advanced' setting that you guys use on the router to ensure fast loading of pages? Im assuming pages should load within 3 secs with 500mbps speeds. And im not talking about graphic intensive pages or websites from far away servers, mostly google search pages and Gmail. This post has been edited by xtracooljustin: Oct 30 2018, 05:21 PM

QUOTE(SilentVampire @ Oct 30 2018, 05:24 PM) If that is the product, then the max speed you can get is only 100Mbps as it only supports FE ports, which is up to 100Mbps. The AC1200 is also not an optimal router for 500Mbps, on wireless. Disable IPv6 too. What antivirus are you using? That could affect it as well. Thanks for highlighting the limitations of the hardware but I have alredi encountered this issue since the beginning of this year when the speed was still 100mbps. I will try disabling the IPv6.

anybody having issues with their TIME? Some of my usual websites even Google searches, the webpages doesnt load saying its some DNS error or something "DNS Lookup for "*****.com" failed. System.Net.Sockets.SocketException This is usually a temporary error during hostname resolution and means that the local server did not receive a response from an authoritative server"
but after sometime refresh, then can load the website.

QUOTE(eighty7 @ Nov 7 2020, 04:48 PM) Using TIME for the past 2 months. Recently internet keep disconnect too frequent. CS also reply with the same answer, reset router, unplug cable etc.. Is this normal? Can I request them to check at my house? experiencing frequent disconnection here too for past few days. Just over wee hours this morning, my D-link app keeps notifying me that my CCTV is offline every hour or so. Is it network or my router issue? Using the standard AC1200 since 2017.
