Someone called me today to offer CelcomDigi Fibre plans. After a few minutes of speaking with her, I found no plan that competes well against what I have now, an RM139 per month Time 500mbps plan.

Closest was a 300mbps down / 50mbps up offer for RM139 per month, with 6 months free and an RM10 rebate per month on my postpaid bill for 2 years.

Maybe this is why Time doesn't seem to feel any pressure to compete on price.

Out of contract 100mbps RM99 can add RM20 upgrade x5 speed to 500mbps , RM119 exclude tax free 2 wifi6 router but need re-contract 24months again.

My Maxis contract just ended. So change to TIME with 2 years contract. But now I realized that the price difference among ISP quite close now. TIME don't have the great advantage now.

I asked different "Ninja" via live chat. None of them can get me the confirm answer that able to request public IP on 200Mbps package. One of the "Ninja" even told me that they won't know if 200Mbps behind CGNAT or not. I will only know after the installation.

I don't want to take the risk that if I get 200Mbps, and behind CGNAT. And I don't think they will offer me RM99 for the first 6 months if I upgrade from 200Mbps to 600Mbps.

I couldn't tell the performance of WiFi 7 since I don't have any WiFi 7 device. But overall I am pleased with the performance and coverage compare to the Asus TUF-AX5400. Somehow I need to schedule restart the Asus router every night, else the Asus router will act weirdly, either WiFi slow/speed drop.

The TP-Link router got a great design, WiFi coverage my whole house. But software less polished than Asus. The USB application for file/media sharing not so great. And some performance report/security features lock behind paywall.
The installer never clean up at all.
I received the report. He never showed me when he did those tests. In the LAN speedtest section, the screenshot from phone. And I never achieve the 600Mbps at all with my test.
