My connection speed gets 500Mbps when connected direct from router (AC1200 from TIME) to PC with CAT6 cable. However, when I connected via TP-Link Powerline TL-WPA8630P Kit AC1200 with CAT6 cable, my speed only gets 250++Mbps. On wifi speed also only get 200++Mbps, which is quite disappointed.

Is that common? I thought this Powerline can support up to 867Mbps with 5Ghz as per described on the box.

My PC located another room, so I really need powerline to connect, I don't want to have super long cable connect from router to PC.

I really amazed by the complaint made in TIME FB page, I understand the fuss when internet is down. I've been experienced with Maxis & Unifi before, I can't recalled how many time of down times and sometimes took few days only resolved.

After switched to TIME for more than 2 years, I only experienced 2 down times, first was nationwide affected and this is 2nd time only, each time also resolved within a day.

I'm not saying any providers shall have down time, but compare to others, in my honest opinion, TIME still the most stable and fastest. For those suffering bad connection or other issues, maybe can consider change better router, I'm using other better router than the original router.

The few days the connection like unstable, slow or unable to connect, virtual meeting keep disconnected, especially from 10am, after a while back to normal. Anyone facing the same issue?

I'm using TP-Link AX73 (wifi6) router, so far no issue with the speed & connection until this few days, I even tried restart modem & router and the result still the same. I'm staying at PJS 1 area.

They provided me another HG8145X6 Wifi6 Router as mesh too, just installed less than 2 weeks ago.

Noob question, instead of convert HG8145X6 into bridge mode in order to use other router, can we use fiber optic converter (e.g. TP-Link MC100CM) to convert fiber optic to other router?

I kept the Huawei fibre modem from previous condo, now new condo TIME using HG8145X6. Just to check, can I use back the old huawei fibre modem to enable to use my TP-Link AX73 or really need to call CS to change HG8145X6 as bridge mode?

Recently I converted the HG8145X6 to bridge mode and using tp-link deco x50, it was quite frustrated that some of my devices (Phones, laptops & smart tv) were connected to my deco x50 wifi but no internet, but other devices like smart home system have internet.

After check into details, I found out those no internet access devices the ip were 192.168.100.xx (HG8145X6 ip is 192.168.100.1) instead of 192.168.68.xx (for deco x50 ip 192.168.68.1). After forget wifi name then reconnect, the devices enable to get internet. But once the devices restart or reconnect, the ip back to 192.168.100.xx, then I have to off/on back wifi few times only get the internet with correct ip (192.168.68.xx).

I checked with TIME CS, they said once the device converted to bridge mode the wifi on HG8145X6 will be disabled as well. The only way I did was set static ip on my affected devices but still not all worked well with static ip.

I wonder is the tp-link deco x50 issue but when devices connected to Guest Network no issue at all.

The conversion of the HG8145X6 from all in one to modem mode seems to have always been kinda buggy, a lot of times here people say wifi didnt get disabled and you have to manually log into webui to disable it
*
Can connect wifi but no internet access. Ok, will try manually login webui and see.

I tried to log into webui but unable to load the login page, I was using LAN cable direct from HG8145X6 but can't load the page at all. Is it after converted to bridge mode unable to load or login anymore?

Set your computer IP to 192.168.100.x & open browser login to 192.168.100.1
Yes, there has been serious bug in the push-over config sometimes, the dhcp server is still active and you gotta login to manually disable it.

Thanks for the tips, will try later tonight. Contacted TIME CS few times, they said already disable wifi from their end, but the HG8415X6 WLAN light still on.

Update: Managed to login and disable the WLAN, now everything good.
