QUOTE(FusionXY @ Nov 6 2018, 10:37 PM) Hi. Mine is version 1.0.0 Build 20180502 rel.45702 (EU). Mind sharing the latest firmware with me?I can't use the TIME's Check Router page as it will say I keyed-in my account number wrongly even when i have keyed-in the correct one. Thanks. Hi,
Just bought Archer AX50, connected it to the modem, but the WAN light is orange.. not green. My old wifi router is working okay though. DO i need to call TIME Cust Svcs to change the setting to the Huawei modem? |

QUOTE(SilentVampire @ Jan 8 2021, 10:42 PM) Yes, i do. i am familiar with wireless router setup (been doing setups with no issue all these while). Reconnecting using my old router has no issue at all.. just this newly-bought AX50 shows orange light for WAN.. like there's no internety signal from the huawei modem at all. Called TIME Cust Svcs, they have confirmed that the modem's function is sety to "only modem". They have even re-set the connection, but the same issue still persist. |

Hi. can anyone suggest a better router than the default Huawei Optixstar HG8145X6 provided by TIME?
And the new router should be 2-in-1 (with modem) as well, as i can see that the fibre optic cable is plugged directly into the Huawei modem. Thank you |

QUOTE(blacktubi @ Apr 8 2024, 10:58 AM) Basically anything that's AX3000 and above will be better than that provided modem router. Thank you for the guide sir! I will get something that's AX4200 and above for a more significant upgrade. Yup, it's an all-in-one product. If you want to use your own router, you need to contact TIME and request their customer service to switch it to bridge mode (they can do it remotely) then you can proceed with the usual PPPOE config as usual. PPPOE details available on self care portal. |
