If you are streaming on single device via LAN, then it's fine. If you are still tied within the minimum contract (2 years), then it will reset. Subscribe Time over 2yrs. So shud be no more contract now. So streaming 4k/fhd with lan is no issue will consider downgrading.
I think the minimum requirement to stream 4k from netflix is only 25 or 30mb speed. Myself on 4k tv connected to 5ghz have no single issue to stream 4k netflix since past 1 year. Play game simultaneously also smooth. I see time mco offer rm10 rebate for 2 years if take the upgrade to 500mb, hence additional rm30 monthly. tempting but i dont find reason to upgrade so far. |

QUOTE(hlmilk112 @ Oct 15 2020, 08:43 PM) This offer as below when will end? As my contract is end on 14 nov 2020. Why Time does not takecare of existing user? Only for new user? Wat the marketing strategy is this? Yup.. they do. But offered router only.Sooner Celcom n Digi will have fibre broadband also. So we can switch to any service as we like. Hope Time will have more offer for existing user. ![]() I do hope they offer other product which more useful, people gladly recontract. |

My brother is joining the time network recently and he was convince by the installer on site (condo), huawei modem is better than modem+router setup. but looking at the sharing here, seem different story.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Mar 18 2021, 12:23 PM) Wah, this is bad... I heard TIME service is not as good as it used to be.. I have been silently reading this thread on and off, every few posts, I will see people posted about network outage. TIME rep has gone to my apartment to check with Management Office and will work to get it available in our apartment, I haven't moved in yet so I didn't see the rush to find for the right provider. Looks like I may consider Maxis or UniFi in this case. Actually true.My current home, a landed prop using UniFi and has no issue... Back in the time i used unifi, i experience 0 downtime. really 0 through my entire 2 years contract. I subs time internet when my new condo completed in 2019, and to date total unscheduled and scheduled. i think already 5-6 times by now, good thing is they always send me sms and email inform about it. Out of the total downtime count, 2 of them are during working day hour. Many time kena curi cable or construction cable cut. Overall ok la, not perfect but always get 100% of subs speed.
