So many router recommendation here until I also pening. I've just downgraded my plan to 100Mbps and was hoping someone can recommend me a better wifi router? I'm currently still using D-Link 850L that comes with my installation but my speed hardly goes above 50Mbps

TP-Link C1200 is just enough for 100Mbps

You mean the one that comes free for new subscribers right? For existing customers no longer on contract, can I request them to exchange this router for free as well? Anyone tried?

Anyone received calls from Time to upgrade their 100Mbps to 300Mbps with an extra RM 10?

They are providing a Huawei WA8021V5 as a free upgrade with a 2-yr contract period.

Will the new router be a better version than the current TP Link EC230-G1?

So I took up the offer to extend my contract for another 2 yrs, and they replaced my 3 antenna TP Link router with just this small Huawei WA8021V5 mesh node.

I thought I was supposed to get a new Huawei HG8145V5 router + the WA8021V5 mesh node as part of the promotion?

Is this tiny looking node going to give me better speed than my old 3 antenna TP Link router?

The 3 antenna router is much better than the 2 antenna in terms of performance.

Actually all I get was this tiny mesh node which supposed to act as a router. The installer told me the Huawei HG8145V5 router is only for new customer.
I took up the offer because the person who called me told me the new device is better than my current one.

Hi, what is the model of your "3 antenna TP-Link router" ?

Thanks.

TP Link AC1200 which Time provided for free also when I renew my contract last time. This one I can really feel it performs much better than the original D-Link router, but the latest Huawei node they gave I'm not sure.
