Hi, been running 300MB Time with the Huawei WA8025V5 upgrade from my previous TP-Link EC230, but ever since the upgrade I get random lag spikes from playing Apex Legends. I tried a lot of solutions like opening ports, malware scanning, changing cables, DNS flushing, restarting the router etc but it could be that the WA8025 is not up to par. Will revert back to the EC230 (have not tried that yet) to see if the problem persists.
I'm planning to change the router as a last resort; is there any decent Time compatible routers out there I can purchase?

QUOTE(jjj2 @ Nov 4 2021, 12:36 AM) Hi, there are plenty of TIME compatible decent routers such as Asus, TP-Link etc. or even Enterprise grade routers depending on your budget. Budget maybe in the realm of RM500~ I concentrate more on minimal lag performance for gaming so not really looking for enterprise grade. Any specific model I should be looking at? Mesh is optional (since I live in small room Condo) For router settings will Time technicians set it up or me as a user can set up? This post has been edited by This is a Lamp: Nov 4 2021, 12:46 AM

QUOTE(jjj2 @ Nov 4 2021, 01:38 PM) Hi, go for TP-Link AX73 or Asus entry level AX56U. You can request the SI to set it up with a fee, standard rate card is RM80/hour for non TIME device setup. Alternatively you can set it up yourself. Thanks. Hi, thanks for the reply. AX56U seems like a good choice. I have found the cause of the issue; the Huawei WA8025V5 was definitively not up to par in terms of network load. Maybe day-to-day activities it's an alright router. I like the compact size too. I connected back the EC230 and the problem was resolved; I still would like to consider a new router. Can I request for the SI on Self-care or is there a separate hotline for this?

How do I raise a ticket in Self-care? seems like the option is not there anymore, just links me to a "live chat" to a bot.
Looking for any solutions on fluctuating pings on online games. Have flushed DNS and restarted the PC/router/ONU.
