Guys, I need some help here. I was using Xiaomi Router 3 all this while, and both wireless and wired speedtest able to get about 90mbps+ before TIME upgrade our package. After speed upgraded to 500mbps, it seems like no changes in terms of speed using my Xiaomi Router 3. Yesterday TIME came and installed the TP-Link router for me, wireless about to get about 150mbps (compared to my Xiaomi Router 3, 90mbps+) and wired able to get 510mbps (compared to my Xiaomi Router 3, 90mbps+).

When stream movies thru network using TP-Link AC1200, movies tend to buffer at times when connected to 2.4GHz, however Xiaomi Router 3 doesn't observed this issue. So I'll temporary switch back to my Xiaomi Router 3 at the moment.

Anyone know what's going on with my Xiaomi Router 3? I tried reset factory default for my Xiaomi Router 3 but still the same, speedtest can't get more than 100mbps despite TIME has already upgraded to 500mbps.

Thank you in advance.

Mi Router 3 Ethernet LAN port only support 100Mbps connection.

I'm getting around 480-500Mbps both DL/UL via cable, connected to gigabit NIC.

However only getting 10-12MB/s max on bittorrent even there are large amound of seeds. Yeah, I know we're not supposed to talk about BT. No issues on HTTP downloads.
*
Speed test/download from Steam/Nvdia always getting full speed.
getting 30+MB/s on BT but that already maxed out my HDD at 100% read/write. But don't want to perform bt downloads on my SSD.

I have no issue with 500Mbps after upgrade from 100Mbps...

But i think will downgrade....get the RM99 price...later next year, speed bump to 300Mbps at same price....hehe.(Wishful thinking!)
*
Same as well. So far speed has been stable @ 490Mbps up & down.
bit-torrenting can easily reach 30~40MB/s as well.

What router you using??
*
the stock tplink router given by TIME. Connection speed on LAN ya.
WIFI speed so far around 250Mbps only. Unless i test next to the router can get 400Mbps+ on my phone.

what's your torrent client setting? i can't get over 10-12MB/s even with some tweaks made. Tried torrent with lots of seeders but it reluctant to go further than 12MB/s. Feels like throttled.
*
qbtorrent & xunlei-U(VIP) version.
Enable port forwarding (UDP/TCP) and set active connection to 1000 per task.

And because of the speed upgrade by TIME, i dug out my old SSD from store room to use as download drive. HDD torrenting at 30~40MB/s down will peak disk usage @ 100%.

Remark: Xunlei start to block copyright content hence mostly download via qbtorrent now.

Another night of slow TIME performance. I would advice everyone who wish to apply to TIME to hold off until this is resolved.

High ping and slow speed every night and this has been going on for a week now.

I called tonight to complain and was given the same ticket number. Is TIME just consolidating all nighttime network issues regardless of customer into 1 case?
*
wasn't aware about that. I think they created a parent case/major incident on it.

TIME connection speed is getting hopeless nowadays. Last week i only experience slowness at night time but now even at noon.
By the way, staff from TIME (Ms. Gayathri) called me 2:06PM today and said they had did some changes this early morning and asked me to monitor the connection status. And this is the outcome...

We need to get this escalated. TIME is overselling bandwidth and this has gotten too worst now.

Time to get SKMM involved.

I did. On Sunday.
MCMC Complaint ID : 0320-29-0002824-TIME
I think that the reason they called me today around 2pm where some of you who raise complaint directly to TIME 2 weeks ago yet to get any follow up.

Just called TIME to check on my ticket as I have not received any updates over 24 hours. Call center overwhelmed and they will only take down your phone number and call you back in 2 hours.

Unfortunately, they didn't call me back.  bangwall.gif
