Hi guys!

Planning to get TIME internet for my apartment by ownership transfer since I only need internet for 1 year.

So my questions is:
1. What is the procedure for ownership transfer?
2. Do TIME technician need to come over to my apartment for installation or can I just plug and play using the modem from previous owner?

Hi guys!

A little bit out of topic but did any of you managed to grab any TIME rewards on the 15th each month.

Seems like every time, the reward is fully grabbed. Even when I checked early in the morning around 3 to 4 am.

Did you guys always ready at 11:59pm on the 14th?

Hello all,

Need your help. My Time TP-Link router has dead. No lights whatsoever when turned on since last night. My router is TP-LINK AC1200

I urgently need an internet connection for work purposes. My question is, can I just buy another router and plug and play? Do I need to call TIME technician to configure the new router?

Thank you.

Dear bro

As long you know you Time PPoe login username and password , you can buy another router to replace  and setup the login credential.

Alternatively u can call Time customer service to get the support also

Feel free to let us know if you need further support on this.
Thanks

Hi Yeapch01, thanks for the quick reply. Really appreciate it.

The PPoe login is my TIME login details? Or is it the modem login?

Hello guys!

I've been searching for the answer to my question in this thread but I cannot find it. So, here goes:

I'm a TIME use since 2019, which I got from an ownership transfer. My contract with TIME is already expired last year.

I am moving to a new building next month and looking at TIME relocation service. If my understanding is correct, since I don't have an on-going contract with TIME, I cannot apply for the relocation service is it?

If it is true, what is the best, cheapest and quickest way to go about it? Should I terminate my current service and sign up for a new service after I have move in?

Thank you!

Hi guys!

Been using TIME (100 Mbps) for the past 2 years and they offered me the loyalty promo. Basically, I can get 300 Mbps and 1 mesh router for an additional RM 10 per month.

Speed was never an issue for me. I can load up Netflix, browse the internet and watch Youtube all good so far. Just that I cannot get a decent speed in the master bedroom. So, a mesh router probably will solve that.

It's tempting but there's some question:

1. If I take the promo, will it bind to another 1-year or 2-year contract?
2. If not, can I just opt out of the promo at any time?
3. In your opinion, do you think the promo is worth it?

Thank you!

Hello all sifus,

I'm a newbie in terms of technical networking stuff but I've been a TIME user since 2019 with the Basic Plan 2Mbps.

There are some areas in my apartment where the connection is quite bad and from what I gathered, this is due to the old Router (Tp-Link AC1200) that I've been using. It is an old router that I first got when subscribing TIME.

I'm thinking of buying a new router myself as I don't want to renew my contract with time. I've been reading and ChatGPT-ing around and seems like Tp-Link Ax1500 is good enough upgrade for my case.

My question is, do i just simply plug and play the new router (with some settings ofc) and it's good to go? Or do I need to call for Time technician to configure the router?

Thank you!
