TIME Internet just came back. LOL
I restarted everything, I disconnect the fiber GPON and reconnect it back still no luck. No wonder everyone were having down time.

Most latest router have this kind of technology called "hardware offloading" which doesnt use cpu power to manage the speed, they just let the speed go based on how much the bandwidth is.
I dont know yours, but something is holding your speed. Have you try other router to see the differences? |

Is there any proper channel for TIME where they announce the downtime and the reason why it is down? Left your customers hanging here. I remember reading their uptime guaranteed is 100%. I guess not anymore.

QUOTE(blacktubi @ Jun 15 2019, 11:06 PM) ASUS PCE-AC58BT + ASUS RT-AC86U. I am using TIME 1Gbps package with Unifi AP AC Pro, the most highest speed I got is 300Mbps despite standing beside the AP. I think I need to find cat 6a cable to connect from ONU to the router400Mbps stable after 1 wall. 600Mbps LOS. The best you can get is this package. |

QUOTE(jjj2 @ Jun 19 2019, 12:16 AM) Hi, well I guess my 5Ghz didnt run on 80Mhz channel lol, will try it again laterFirstly, determine the incoming bandwidth by speed test direct wired to the ONU (bypassing Router/AP). If the speed is somewhere near to 1Gbps, force your Unifi AP to run on 5GHz Radio & set to VHT80MHz channel. Update it to latest firmware v4.0.42 as well. Thanks. |

QUOTE(diehard1979 @ Sep 20 2019, 04:43 PM) from what I heard, TIME is good for routing in malaysia. but for international route, TIME is a bit slow compared to TM unifi. But I think singapore will work fine. Coz mostly I played dota server in singapore, the latency is below 10 at all time, so yeah u can register for TIME to connect to singapore. |

Hi,
i want to ask something regarding IPv6 prefixes. How can I request a /56 prefix? Because by default TIME only give /64 prefix which does not enough for my LAN network. |

QUOTE(soonwai @ Apr 16 2020, 04:00 AM) I have multiple vlans and also some of interface that using different subnets so I need to assign some of the prefix to them.QUOTE(jjj2 @ Apr 17 2020, 12:26 AM) You can set the prefix length at your router. /64 is only available for 1 interface that is for SLAAC to work because another /64 is used for mac address through autoconfiguration.Just out of curiosity, how is that possible /64 not enough for your LAN ? I tried to request a bigger prefix using IPv6 DHCP client, but all I get is only /64. Btw I am using MikroTik router, I have some kind of home server here lol. |
