Getting the 500Mbps installed tomorrow.

Any tips for a first time TIME user in terms of installation, testing etc?

From my understanding reading through the last few pages, it is advisable to get a third party router and mesh to replace the ones provided by TIME. Do I need to replace 2 or just the router is enough?

Will a third party mesh able to boost the performance in the Bedroom 1 and Master Bedroom?

My time fibre gives the Hg8145x6 mesh router, have 2 piece but I'm only using 1 piece, another piece I want to use for my other house as wifi repeater.

However when I go to the router settings wifi repeater, it just won't connect to any wifi AP even my own phone Hotspot.

Anyone have this issue and how to solve? Thank you

WiFi repeater is mesh? Most other router brands have the wifi repeater function

if my installation has a high fibre reading , can that be fixed easily ? since it doesn't cause any connection issues does it matter also ?

If you are using one of those Huawei All in One Routers

Login -> System Information -> Optical
and pay attention to RX Optical Power

TIME Fibre major outage happening now?

Hi sifus, I did a reset on the router yesterday, and unable to connect to the internet anymore 

I'm trying to reconfigure the connection, but stuck on the first step of logging to this page:


I called the customer service, and she informed me to refer to the label of the router, but it did not work. Anyone knows what should be the right credentials to use?

p/s 1: There is no credential provided on the modem.
p/s 2: CS asked me to refer to router label to login the website above which I find it weird. (Thought it supposed to be modem, not router?)

Btw, do u know if TIME is charging us beginning of the month or end if the month, i got bit confused when the chat live guy told me that we are charged at beginning of month, like prepaid

Just wana clarify, lets say install on 10th, billing on 25th

So, the first bill will charge pro rated 10-25th/30days
But will it come also with the next month bill meaning subsequent full month bill as well? Meaning pay ahead for coming month also?

Means 15days + 30days  bill

I'm currently on 500 and that promo ends around November for me and I plan to downgrade to 100
*Downgrade with contract reset is what I've heard from these forums, I havent tried to do it myself since the time hasnt come yet

Part of me is also hoping it becomes permanent with the announcement of reduced prices in September

RM 99 + Free 1 mth or Wifi 6 router for current 100Mbps.

RM 109 for 300Mbps.

RM 119 for 500Mbps

Free 1 month or get a Mesh Wifi 6 router.

I want RM 99 300Mbps...

I just installed 500mpbs. But why do I get both router and mesh same model. Is it normal? Or the installer kelong my mesh. I receiver both HG8M8145X6

Assuming Time revises the prices as such:

a) RM99 = 300mbps / 500 mbps

b) RM69 = 100mbps

For those on a 100mbps @ RM99 contract, will we be moved automatically to Package A or Package B, or we remain status quo until the contract expires?
