Anyone had any luck with getting an eSIM along with a working multiSIM?
Also has anyone been able to delay the activation of eSIM for longer than 24 hours upon receiving the activation package?

QUOTE(stuffx @ Mar 12 2019, 12:41 PM) not sure what do you mean by multisim... but my dual sim setup works perfectly without any issue (maxis esim + unifi mobile physical sim) Thanks for the response. multiSIM is a discontinued service that's different from dual-sim. It's basically a cloned SIM card service from Maxis that allows the devices running these SIM cards to share the data plan, make calls from the same number, but we have to designate one of the multiSIMs as the master to receive calls. This post has been edited by vincentleong: Mar 12 2019, 01:16 PM |

QUOTE(tai_digidestany @ Apr 10 2019, 06:01 AM) Maxis Centre, Plaza Merdeka, Kuching Thanks again. This is really good to know.I went to Pavillion and also at KLCC; they keep on offering share-line in which have to choose new number for the other sim; which is totally defeat the purpose of my intention to get a multi-sim for same number. I think because they want to get sales from new number. RM48/month compare to RM15/month for multi sim. |

QUOTE(stuffx @ Apr 10 2019, 11:49 AM) For multiSIM, you have to designate one of the SIMs as the primary so calls will be forwarded there. The designation is pretty much on-the-fly with just a few key presses. |

I have just replaced the physical SIM card this morning with eSIM and kept all my other 3 existing multiSIMs. The Maxis representative who helped me with my request said I'm allowed the maximum of 5 multiSIMs, unchanged from what was previously known. Upon activation of eSIM, only the primary multiSIM on my phone got deactivated. The Maxis center I went to was Menara Maxis in KLCC. Hope this helps. |
