How badly do you want it? Does Apple Malaysia warranty guarantee matter to you?

I asked them 3 times, once on Shopee, another via Qoo10 email, and lastly the phone number you gave me. All 3 answers are consistent. All saying Apple Malaysia Warranty works once the official set is released here. But then again you did warn us to take their words with a pinch (or perhaps grain) of salt. So I'm not really holding my breath if the MY warranty works or not.

Yeah it's more like they exploited Qoo10's wonky interface to block people from cancelling. As far as procedures go, it's normal for retailers/suppliers to create a tracking number in advance and then the partnered courier company will pick them up at the shop and put them at the warehouse first before proceeding with delivery.

IF Apple Malaysia supports international warranty (or at least Asia) like last year, you should be able to swap 1 to 1 with a Malaysian set, granted, your HK set is ****ed up beyond repair within 7 days and it's not user issue. Other than the SIM capabilities, the iPhones are still pretty much identical to each other. So minor issues, they should be able to fix under warranty. But of course this is just an IF scenario. I was told that Apple Warranty T&C had changed again last July.

It is original. US set though. Meaning your power brick out of the box will be American 2 pin type. The seller is offering you local 3 pin plug tho but that's not original product. US warranty, can't claim here. Gotta claim from seller.

I'm extremely anxious because I have never had good experience with GDex. To entrust them with 6k worth of goods is akin to entrusting my life savings to a toddler.

check which gdex office your phone is stored at, then call them to arrange self pick up. Alternatively, if its 5pm already you could just go there yourself.

Called GDex and the lady told me I can't self pick up yet because the package was only recently picked up by their courier so it needs to be processed first. Oh well. Beats Invalid CN len 13.
