Seriously... TM doing that? throttle and disconnect when using 8mbps bandwidth, what purpose then if dont allow 8mbps begin used

It seems like pppoe issue. Could u try another router first to see if u get random pppoe disconnects as well?

If not u have to lodge a complaint alr..

Streamyx technician told me before there is an upper speed limit on the pppoe above the normal port cap 8000kbps. But never should it result in random disconnections tho...

I feel like that, but, why throttle if we pay and use the subscription, no use.
but Unifi use PPPoE, so PPPoE just mean for virtual Ethernet, just like PPTP, L2TP, SSTP, OpenVPN
I feel their DSLAM problem

Wait i think i know alr.. i think someone stole your pppoe account, hence everytime after session keepalive interval will proceed to reconnect. Tell tm to change your pppoe password immediately. 8mbps account holders pppoe account are very attractive

Is your remote management on? If u forget to hide your speedtest ipaddress and can access web admin from wan interface, then your account can be easily stolen ohmy.gif

I using Asus DSL-AC52U, no remote mgmt enable, and password is strong.

using Riger DB102 (old) speed become 5mbps
using Riger DB102WL (new) speed is fast, same problem, disconnect.

apply to modem (bridge) + router/pc,

disconnect when full speed for 8 to 20 minute
