Everytime I download something, or using full 8mbps bandwidth, it get disconnected...reconnect,
LCP terminated by peer mean TM disconnect my connection or my Asus DSL-AC52U disconnect it?

Look into router log, disconnect every ~10min when using full 8mbps bandwidth!

If one sees the LCP Terminated by Peer - that means the remote end initiated the disconnect... in other words, they hung up the session...

Nothing you can do much on your end - it's all on the ISP.

-------on gugel search and click the best link to yr anwser. NOT my PROFESSIONAL answer.

Your ISP is doing that, probably some throttling going on.

It seems like pppoe issue. Could u try another router first to see if u get random pppoe disconnects as well?

If not u have to lodge a complaint alr..

They are probably trying to limit torrenting or downloading at max speed, or using the full 8Mbps connection makes your line unstable. Either way, it is up to TM to help you to troubleshoot it.

Streamyx technician told me before there is an upper speed limit on the pppoe above the normal port cap 8000kbps. But never should it result in random disconnections tho...

I feel like that, but, why throttle if we pay and use the subscription, no use.

If this happens during normal usage without downloading any torrent, it could be a physical infra issue.

Wait i think i know alr.. i think someone stole your pppoe account, hence everytime after session keepalive interval will proceed to reconnect. Tell tm to change your pppoe password immediately. 8mbps account holders pppoe account are very attractive

Is your remote management on? If u forget to hide your speedtest ipaddress and can access web admin from wan interface, then your account can be easily stolen ohmy.gif

I using Asus DSL-AC52U, no remote mgmt enable, and password is strong.

using Riger DB102 (old) speed become 5mbps
using Riger DB102WL (new) speed is fast, same problem, disconnect.

apply to modem (bridge) + router/pc,

disconnect when full speed for 8 to 20 minute
