- if you only intend to play for a month till let’s go is released on the switch, it makes more sense to get the old 3DS- however the new 2DSXL or new 3DS is a lot faster. You will see improvements in load time. Especially for Pokémon. Pokémon SuMo/USUM lags on old 3Ds in comparison.
