Old 3DS or new 3DS?

Right now I'm torn between getting a used old 3ds or used new3ds. Buying just for leisuring gaming, mainly to play pokemon and other simple game(while waiting for pokemon lets go pikachu release in november on switch). Does it have a big difference between the 2? Will my money worth it to spend double the value of the old3ds for the new3ds?

You will see improvements in load time. Especially for Pokémon. Pokémon SuMo/USUM lags on old 3Ds in comparison. |
