He gave away a risky short pass to Firmino though. VVD saved his ass there.

Ya... 1st half. Almost shit out of da pants... except for tht he did a few good stops too.

If Klopp is still in tinkering mood for 4231, would like to see him put Bobby as 9, Shaq as 10 & Salah on the right.
*
no9: salah despite missing few chances, he still our best finisher. he also got natural striker instinct in positioning, movement and eye for goal.

no 10: firmino is intelligent. can beat his man. good link up play. quite good in doing defensive duty and pressing.

RM: shaq has good techniques, can dribble, can cross plus he got pace to make forward run and to cover our fullback.

Shaqiri can play in the hole if needed. Or he can play the Lallana role in 4-3-3.
Just feel like chemistry not right with Salah upfront. Just hoofing the ball and expect him to chase.
*
I think Shaq has actually never played in the hole, he always drift in from wide, Klopp said something similar IIRC, that's why here we are.

Don't think it's really chemistry because the front 3 have had 1 season together. Just that Salah is not a proper striker, that's why Firmino who is a natural shadow striker doesn't quite find his home at the no.10 now. With teams sitting deep, Salah also less space to run into. I think with more game time, those 3 players can work better to exploit the right channel.

Btw, whats up with Hendo? He seems like very emo throughout the game, everything also complain, keep on do silly foul. Now people is losing confidence in him more and more, he will definitely lose his capt armband very soon.

VVD for the capt!

Haha ugly win but I'll take it.
It is painful to see their DM way better than ours, that Doucoure lad reminds me of Viera.
Like I said before it amazes me that whenever we counter attack Robertson will be the first to sprint forward.

And, shall I say bend it like Arnold. I guess when Harry Wilson is back hopefully we can be more threatening from set-pieces.
*
I thought it was a decent win. A shaky 1st half but they came in big 2nd half and ended the game on a high. Superb free kick, excellent counter attack goal.

Ugly win is maybe last minute penalty or tap in 1-0 win.

I remember his frustration took the better of him during Chelsea match because he couldn't contain Hazard at certain moment. As a senior player and a leader, he should have known better.

December is approaching, during critical times like these, it would be nice if everyone is available.

Well, may be a decent win if you look at the scoreline. But I can't say the same about the performance, the team did not play to its potential. And our non functioning midfield still bothers me. For me, we played better against Fulham.

So yes good win but not good performance.

Yup I do remember that game, he easily get frustrated when he couldnt contain the player. Then he will tend to become impatience and couldnt time his interception right, doing all the unnecessary foul.

I respect Henderson as captain but always thought Milner was the more suitable one.
Not losing any sleep over him missing the derby. Milner to come in with Gini and Keita/Fabinho.
I suspect Klopp will revert to 433 for this. Everton is dangerous and showing some good form.

I understand where you are coming from. But realistically, there will be up and down for performance. We have a huge team and many new players.

Maybe just me but I dont expect every player to play at 8/10 and gel like super glue every game.
