How to register new number for Umobile borneo plan from the app? I only can find the normal prepaid plan.

Last year I got a Sumpack from 7-11.
Then bought Borneo plan RM15 at U Mobile App.

umobile at my home has always performed poorly. today i took a look at my router's stats and saw these:

RSSI: -69dBm
RSRP: -99dBm
RSRQ: -12dB
SINR: -2dB

is there anyone telco expert that can decode the numbers and tell me why umobile is so bad? i think RSRQ is looking particularly bad. due to congestion?

If this article is correct, then your RSRP of 99 showed you are on the edge of the cell tower coverage...

1 bar most of the time, even though my RSSI is better than yours.

speedtest seems ok but intermittent connection failures.

no using 5G, just 4G/LTE.

My Android device is -96dBm (= signal strength)(>Settings >About xxx >Status Info >SIM Card status) on 4G LTE showing 3 bars out of 4 and good speedtest of >20Mbps.
....... I can get up to -90dBm if I put my device nearer towards outside my house = less objects blocking the signal from the nearest cell tower.

Maybe try putting your device nearer to an open window/door facing outside.

don't think so. my signal power at -69dBm much is stronger than yours. the problem is that my signal quality RSRQ is too low, maybe due to noise and interference.

just took a peek.

RSSI: -63dBm
RSRP: -94dBm
RSRQ: -15dB
SINR: -8dB

RSSI -63dBm gives only 1 bar and quality RSRQ gotten worse.

Fyi, .......

GEMINI AI Overview:

A Signal-to-Interference-Plus-Noise Ratio (SINR) below 0 dB means there is more interference and noise in the signal than the desired signal itself, resulting in a poor or unusable connection. This is often caused by physical obstructions, distance from the cell tower, or network congestion.

Try Band locking to either Band 1, 3, 7 or 8, as per post below. .......
