Well I just did my port Out. Paid my outstanding. Swallowed the reconnection fee "non-waivable" nonsense.
Porting out to YooDoo to keep my number while I will put consideration for Yes 4G BB .

Complain to them hundreds of times since January. How patience I am.

Worse still when line suspended, and i requested for reconnect, their CS didnt tell me that there is charges.
I complained to Umobile, they admit their CS did the wrong thing by not stating there will be reconnection charges.
By right I have the right to demand for waive for reconnection fee. its their fault.

However their CS said - "Its still a valid charge". Fcuk you. I told them "OK, I also want to port out, thats also a valid reason" .
And she just say "Itu ialah hak awak sebagai pengguna" sound like not remorseful at all. No empathy feeling. Maybe my luck with some senior CS agent.

I already highlighted that the problem only happens at night. Its either they are fking lazy to test or test during the daytime.
(Just tested my Umobile at 1pm , getting 4-5MBps. Acceptable though)

In short, they blame its my structure home's fault. Then please explain why is it DIGI , Yes 4G, Maxis, Tune, in my house has absolutely no problem giving me sufficient high speed. yesterday night I tested wifey DIGI , got 11 MBPS, inside my bedroom .

I have send about 6 or 7 online complaint to SKMM & umobile (to get the report no) due to low speed internet. I only have gotten around 0.7-1.2mbps in Lumut nowadays.

someone in FB teaches on using HTTP Injector. Done it and get around 20Mbps for Gx50, but just it is not consistent. test it to download Pubg about 2GB is amazing after using the injector. Youtube 720P is also ok. but as I said, it just not consistent, sometime ok sometime it turn slow back, have to stop and start back the injector.

For general information, any illegal use of a phone plan(eg by modifying the 4G modem-router or using the Pdanet+ app) can be easily detected by the telco through Deep Packet Inspection of the subscriber's "suspicious" web traffic(eg excessive data being used) = the telco will deactivate the prepaid account or will tack a bill of about RM1,000 on the post-paid account for illegal use of data. If the bill is not paid, the subscriber will be CTOS'ed = can't get loans/credit from banks and blacklisted by the telco.

I've been charged by U Mobile on International SMS Roaming for 2 months in a row but I did not even send any messages via sms (who still does it anyways now that we have WhatsApp).

I contacted U Mobile Customer Service. They showed me the number I 'texted' to, which is all the same number 6018-1000108, which they have no idea who the number belongs to and demanded I must pay.

While on #cubatry it was all 100mbps@morning /37mbps @night

Also, this applies to good signal area for u mobile.
If u on the average/bad area might get even below 3mbps constant speed

What you posted above may be Fake news, wrt UMobile throttling GX30/GX50 speed to 0.5Mbps from 8pm to 1am after exceeded 50GB for the billing month. Photos can be faked. Do you have the official TnC about this, sourced directly from UMobile, eg at its websites.?

Err, not entirely "fake".

U Mobile put a special exception on speedtest sites like speedtest.net so that the speed test results you get, are actually showing you the max capability that their network can provide to you,
but when it comes to the end user (you) using it for any internet browsing activities, you won't get speeds this fast, and they can throttle your speed to how much they want, especially if they feel like you're using too much or abusing it.

From what I see, they don't want their ever-growing users to congest their network, and continue to advertise their unlimited plans here and there to entice new customers.

The one on fast.com, is throttled to 1.5Mbps because of Video-Onz.
Just because they so generously give you unlimited or dedicated video streaming quota, that doesn't mean they would let you stream at full internet speed.

Why they do this, you ask? They want more and more customers to jump to their ship, but they don't want people to congest the ship.

U-Mobile GX30/GX50 are data-"unlimited" 4G LTE phone plans, ie not 4G modem-router plans for laptops/computers/media-servers(TVs).
....... For streaming videos on your 6" phone, you only need SD/480p resolution at 0.8Mbps, ie you do not need fast d/l speed of 2Mbps or more, for FHD/1080p. 1080p/2Mbps video-streaming is normally only needed for large screen TVs of 32" to 55" or computer monitors of 19" and above.

At SD/480p video-streaming for 5 hours daily, you only consume about 1.25GB of data daily(= 5 hrs X 250MB). This equals to about 38GB of data per month. For normal phone usage, 50GB or 100GB of data per month is sufficient or considered "unlimited".

Bear in mind that on GX50, download, installation and updating of apps and files are at 5Mbps. If the GX50 phone plan users want to watch a 2 hr movie on their TVs or computer monitors at 1080p/FHD, they will have to first download the movie to their phone as MP4 files and use the VLC app for playback. The download of the movie at 5Mbps will take about 1 hour = more hassle.

For those who prefer unlimited d/l speed, there are the P99 Hero, P139 Hero and Digi Infinite 150 phone plans, which to me are a waste of money.
....... For computer/laptop users, they are better off with truly data-unlimited Home Fiber Internet or Unifi Air plans.

Bear in mind that U-Mobile and other mobile telcos have to pay TM HSBB Fiber for Internet bandwidth and data since all Internet traffic has to go through TM's Fiber backbone network, in order to connect to the rest of the world or www.

Seems, to compete with Yes Konfem 4G unlimited and Unifi Mobile RM59 unlimited, UMobile has recently allowed video-streaming at 720p/HD with GX30/50 since Dec 2019. UMobile has also given a Year-end Reward of RM10 rebate for 6 months to GX50 subscribers. I have been enjoying these improvements with my postpaid GX50 phone plan that is used mostly as my Home Internet in the KV, using about 60GB of data per month, eg watching recorded TV shows at 360p or 720p = no throttling by UMobile. I have no problem with 4G network coverage when I go makan or shopping nearby my area with my 4G Android device occasionally.

FUP for UMobile GX30/50 is 100GB per month before subscriber is throttled to 0.5Mbps. What is Yes Konfem 4G unlimited's FUP.?

Some telcos have the cunning practice of prioritizing new subscribers for good network service for the first few months only, in order to tempt them into signing 1 or 2 years contract for postpaid subscriptions. Once signed-up or not signed-up, service becomes normal = goes downhill.
