Guys, I plan to port in from unifi to gx38. On the website, we can do it ourselves, right?

Just buy a simpack without activation, come back and follow the instructions on 'switch to u' and that's it right?

How's the overall signal coverage and stability of umobile recently? heard so many negative comments about it.

Umobile there 4 testing phase

Phase 1 - 8am to 7pm
Phase 2 - 7pm to 2am
Phase 3 - 2am to 8am
Phase 4 - Festival holidays

The critical phase is phase 2 usually slow and congested you barely achieve 2mbps so better you test out at your area.

CUP35 doesn't care whether 4G kaaa... 4G+ kaaa.... H+ kaaa... DL/UL speed is as per advertised.... CUP35 can still streaming 1080P even if H+ leeeyyyy with more than 10 seconds Readahead summore....

If band 1 or band 7 want to get 5mbps also hard... need to try and error which band is fast using hmanager... if i use s10+, got 4g+ but cannot load webpage at all...

Yes correct... no 4g+ (LTE-CA)... only got 4g...

With Malaysia standards I think I dont see the point having 5G. According to the umobile agent its our device problem not telco.  Even you get unlimited it will be capped between 1mbps to 6mbps those dont need 5G. I think it will take another 10 years at least for 5G to be stable in malaysia.

Anyway just bought a sim and upon first testing, the signals are fine. Speedtest goes around 16mbps.

Gonna test again at my workplace tomorrow.

If I were to use the new gx38, what's the speed gonna be like when it's on H? Unifi was bad when it's on H because of capping from celcom although they deny it many times from my complain. My dad's celcom can go around 8mbps while I got only 0.6mbps. when I see that it's on H, basically I can give up using my phone.

If it is indeed on 6mbps with a stable connection, I'm fine with it. Mostly surf websites and some light YouTube.

You must test it throughout the day. You get 16mbps during the day does not mean u still get it during the night. Because during congestion to just get stable connection is like gambling getting blackjack

The speed at my workplace is amazing. Exceeded my expectations.

Tested a few times and the speed does seem stable and sustains throughout different periods of time.

I need gx38/30 only though.

Where to get this free umobile plan ?
