My mother 64 years old have a tokio marine medical card which we renew annually. Last year however, she was admitted into hospital for colonoscopy - doctor worry there may be something. We claimed the medical card because well that's the use of medical card, right?

Anyway this year during renewal of policy, they slap us with a 20% coinsurance with no cap!!!!!!!!!! mad.gif mad.gif mad.gif mad.gif mad.gif Who have similar experience? Is there anything I can do from my end?

Hmm what do u mean by term insurance? I mean yes I can google. I just want to double check how does it differ from say GE? Term life - means annual renewal and during renewal they can do whatever shit they want?

20% co insurance with no cap means what? For every RM1 claim, client pay RM0.20?

we have no idea about the policy that your mum purchased. what you can do at your side is check the black and white of the policy to see the clauses and the coverage of the plan.

Hi all, okay, I've contacted the customer service.
I think it's written in the small terms and condition. They asked me to write an appeal letter. Honestly though 20% coinsurance with no cap is way too high. I though these legacy plans where they "discriminate" against those claimed before are long gone. I guess wrong. Anyway, thanks all!
