Awhile ago I was at the Service Centre in 1 Utama and I happened to ask about battery replacement for the Note 8. He said they would have to test first to see whether it was really hardware issue or something else like software and that could take a day or 2. After that if really battery issue, replacement could take a few days depending on whether they have ready stock available.As for warranty I think he said battery would be covered for the 1 year warranty. Not sure if he meant that only the default warranty would cover and the extended warranty (if we purchase it) doesn't cover battery anymore.
