There's only so much that post processing can do, especially if you don't shoot raw. My suggestion is to get either a circular polarizer or grey graduated filter to reduce the exposure latitude between the sky and main subject. And shoot raw of course!
Cheers. Good try, but not that great QUOTE(gregy @ Jun 1 2007, 06:14 PM) There's only so much that post processing can do, especially if you don't shoot raw. Its more like stacking them on top of one another using different grades of transparency.

Yes, those can make the sky turnout nicely, but buildings and things on the ground will be dark.
So if buildings are to be nicely exposed as well, not in darkness, then you need to take pics using filters or edit several pictures together. This post has been edited by chucky: Jun 1 2007, 08:27 PM |

QUOTE(chucky @ Jun 1 2007, 06:49 PM) I don't know, my guess would be that this was taken using an ultra wide angle or fisheye lens. coupled with CPL or ND grad filter and shot in RAW, then post processed. This post has been edited by Aurora Boreali: Jun 1 2007, 10:26 PM |
