ive been hit with this problem many timesd after 100mbps upgrade. call 123 with your voip, tell them to reset port. shut down both btu n router for 3+ minutes. hopefully it will solve.

this problem occurs again every 2 days though. sad.gif

I'm also on 100M plan. If using Maxis new TP-Link router, got 26Mbps with 5GHz WiFi.

With my DLink router, got 99Mbps at 5GHz WiFi. Ended up using own router instead.

I am using my own router. Using Tenda dual band at 5GHz. But got no where near 100Mbps.

Maybe just wait for Maxis to come and install new router. See if there is a change.

i just got the router replacement, but there is no difference, still getting 26-30Mbps using LAN or Wifi
the only time i get near 100Mbps (i don't mind 90%-95% of the actual speed), which is the first day i change to 100Mbps package, after this tongue.gif

kindly like getting cheated by maxis.

im about to get the maxis guy to install a fiber cable (100mpbs) at my area - tmn taynton view Cheras, since TM couldnt upgrade to unifi caber (im using streamyx 4mpbs currently)
im also afraid will be cheated by maxis since TM also said no port at my area yet Maxis said can fix it by installing a dedicated cable....

I recently changed to Maxis 100mbps and couldnt get the speed anywhere near to 100mbps.

Complaint many times and apparently software needed upgrade.

Upgraded but many times wifi signal is full bar but no internet. SC say to reboot the router weekly and says its a common issue.

This is the stupidest answer i got.

Are you connected to 2.4GHz or 5GHz wifi connection? If 2.4, you would only be getting around 40Mbps. You have to connect to 5GHz.
