Sorry, I don't get it. What I understand from my SA, Honda allocate the car to all dealers on month basis.

So, example, based on my queue, since I booked in Jul (yeah, try to get it during GST free period, but, missed it) and confirmed by my SA, the car will be arriving in Oct, or in fact arrived. So, if I don't go collect it this month, my queue will be move to November, while one fella who suppose to collect his car in Nov will collect it this month?

Correct?

Unless u bring it to somewhere far from the SA/ dealer u book the car, and very certain that the shop got no any connection or dealing with the SA/ dealer and the workshop trusted u, doubt u can get any cheaper from what SA offer.

Reason is because they have this secret agreement between them, they will not offered anything lower than what SA offer u coz they duwan offend them, just because of 1 car, they lost potential of 10s or 100s of car in long term. Most probably they will quote u the standard, RRP price, which what SA quote u, but, in case, my SA said got tinting voucher, so, it still cheaper than RRP, although I still believe the SA oledi have some cut there.

Tried that in previous car, shop around, most outlets are very reluctant to do.

I am not sure either, coz I try to get the car during GST free period, I think mid/ end Jul if not mistaken, but, the SA say confirm unable to got it by end Sep, unless someone last minutes loan not approved. Ask me to put booking fee, rn500 first, can be refunded.

Then, recently he told me car is arriving.

Anyway, I am in no hurry to get the car.

One concern, due to whatever stupid reasoning, if u collect your car towards year end, it consider full year. Example, if u collect say, Oct/ Nov/ Dec 18, your car consider as 2018 car, even though it only 3 month old in 2018, thus, affecting your selling later (not that I intend to sell also), but, that's the usual reason why many car dealers and SA throw discount to boast sales at year end (on top of try to hit target, but, I think Honda oledi hit their target long time ago)

So, I am holding on, if I can more discount than what Honda currently offering, RM5k, else, might as well get it next year.

Doubt so lah, the discount is based on registered date

So far they only offer me boot tray, dashcam, rm500 tinting voucher, umbrella and full tank.

Yeah, this usually what i do....i shop around. Usually, they say, can be discuss lah if really serious.....I told them, cut the crap, honda malaysia car is same wherever i go book, u tell me the best offer u can give me. Don't cut the crap of all nonsense they provide better after sales services lah, etc....

There is no relationship in dealing with SA......u give me the best deal, in return, if u r in my good book, i recommend u potential buyer

Using Llumar Crystal 6 for my existing car, so far no issue on GPS and smart tag. Heat rejection, very subjective...acceptable to me might not acceptable to u, vice versa.....objectively, no way u can easily benchmark, all those data I feel it pretty useless, nothing beat u have same model car, park under same hot sun condition, with different tints, then, u access which one can cool faster and within your budget.....but, doubt u can do it.

Even those tint shop with those big spot light or infra light for u to test oso partial tell u the story, your car heat not only from windscreen (major from front and back), but, also roof. No matters how good the tints, the heat rejection, with pro-long under the sun, somehow the heat will goes into cabin, and your car air inside is trapped.

My view, get the one that u willing to spend the max budget. And, pay attention to reputable installer, it will make difference on the workmanship.

Wah....seems the price never increase since 9 years ago ....i think it about the price, but, then, if u manage to contact from your SA, sometimes got further discount one.....or, some car club member can get lower....u just need to pay membership, get to know them, join them teh tarik session bullshit, and trove of knowledge and discount

i think your SA tipu u lah........if normal wear and tear, yes, no warranty. But, manufacturing defect, sure cover one....

instead of ask your SA, aka Sales Advisor, go ask another SA, Service Advisor
