Collected my car yesterday  Made my booking on early October.

Immediately took it to tint the car and installed foot pedal lights.
Going to test drive a few days and decide whether want to install some tweeters to the front side of the car 

If want tweeters, better hurry up becoz gsan will close order very soon.

FYI if you like to listen music in car, you will want them especially if you had come from a Proton beforehand like me.

I think 2feidei sums it up quite nicely for this matter. Whether to do minor replacements at SC or DIY, its at the individual SC's discretion to overlook on to this.

My take is, as long its not mentioned in SC service receipts and service records that you skipped replacing (only that the part is omitted from receipt), it can be argued that you did nothing wrong, in case warranty claims do happen. However, we can't say that there might be a strict SC, perhaps a new dealer who is likely to follow rules 100% and want as much money as possible, and they might put on record that you did not do this and that.

Take example, sifu gsan mods (i hope you don't mind). It would be an SC nightmare when claiming warranty, BUT all those mods are plug and play and are authorised Honda parts though installed outside. How would you all reckon this case then? Its a very grey area and are at the mercy of SCs. That's why I had advice asking the SC Advisor if these minor parts replacements can be omitted during servicing without being recorded, so that owners can DIY and not having warranty disputes later on.

For those who are aware and choose to DIY, you know of the possible risk and consequences, but not so for newbies who just bought their cars, moreso their 1st car. And that's why imho we should give advice responsibly.

Really satisfied with her service. She wasn't suppose to be working yesterday and was supposed to be outstation but she still asked me to collect from her yesterday since I wasn't working too. Felt a bit bad though because she had to cancel/rearrange her plans for me.

By the way, I know the order has been closed but how much was a pair of tweeters? The place I did my tint and foot light offered me RM150 or RM250 for a pair, depending on which quality I prefer. I didn't ask what brands.
