You can register the JLPT test at website. Usually test date is at first week Sunday of July and December.

The benefit of test is, you can get a JLPT certificate upon passing the exam, useful for applying some jobs here with Japanese language requirement.

Btw I passed the N1 before.

Maybe I am Unker already so I always think I am going to die soon and I don't like the idea of wasting time.

If you want to learn language just go ahead.

For test and certification it is for future study (in Japan) and employment.
Some jobs in Malaysia do hire Malaysian who knows Japanese. Certification is certainly a requirement for these jobs.

It gives you an objective to study harder. If there is no exam, there is less motivation. Like running a marathon without a finishing line. After passing it, it gives you sense of achievement.
Do take the test if you seriously want to study the language.

Congratzzzzzz! Same here, earlier in the year checked my result - passed N3! I was so worried lol. But really, I think that's as far as I go tongue.gif N2 is, but a dream hahahaha. Going to focus on other course/ certification that could enhance work skill instead.

Hi, do read up the 1st post.
You are welcome to practice your Japanese but over here the discussion/ gathering point is more focused on learners who are keen to take up the JLPT examination.

And the best way is to ditch romaji as a start biggrin.gif pickup the Hiragana and Katakana alphabets.

You can download Japanese language pack and install in your phone, or download Japanese keyboard app. FYI this thread is for discussion on the language, not for chatting nod.gif

Just wanna add, please stop watching Nihongoal. No offense, but I really didn't liker her pronunciation and pitch accent. I know she's popular, but there are other better Youtubers out there.

Where you usually practice? Is there a Japanese Language Exchange program somewhere?

Okay, definitely too long ago, but even during that time, you didn't bother to use it for practice?
