Is there any group around that members can chat with each other in japanese language?
*
You know I've been looking for one but I'm thinking maybe we should have some casual group chat or something like a Discord server for locals learning/practising 日本語。I'd really love to have people to practice with too.

I'm too chicken to take JLPT N1, since I'm a banana I have trouble remembering kanji as well as the Chinese literate peers in my class, I end up reading slower than everyone else sweat.gif

Feel free to open 1 in Discord, and mention this in your Signature for members to PM you if they wish to join the Discord channel. It's a good idea for practice imo.

Oh dear... sorry to hear that. So meaning your Kanji, particles and vocabulary are all okay? Listening as well?

There's reading? I guess it's the comprehension section?

Do you recall which area you struggled the most during the exam?

---> if you can identify the area that need more practice/ clarification, some of us here will try to help you. Don't give up!

I'm about to take my very first N4 this coming July, and I'm already preparing. Are you gonna retake it? Registration is in early March.

I seldom go to KL and never been to Penang. Which test centre is easier to get to?

Where are you based in?

Not much option actually. Only 1 venue for KL - which is commonly held in UCSI. Check out the location in Google map and see whether its convenient for you.

I'm in East M'sian. sad.gif
Not sure if there'll be a complete lock down by that time.

I think in that poster, it says two locations right? KL and Penang? I've never been to Penang so I thought maybe can visit the city a bit.

Yes for Penang likely same venue as at 2019
http://www.pjls.org/category/jlpt/

Perhaps you can contact the centre to check for more details.

Agree, the virus is increasingly worrying as it spreads more and more. There is no telling what will happen few months later.

Not sure if I want to register this round. The virus thing is getting worse and no idea will be ok by july. Though i suppose N5 (RM110) is not that expensive and the fee could be refunded and carried forward in case anything happens.

Since everyone is stuck at home due to MCO, try some reading materials! Read more 多読 (たどく) and learn more. Noticed that Japan Foundation gave free access to their 多読 resources:

https://tadoku.org/japanese/free-books/

There are books from level 0 (simple and short phrases) to level 4. Awesome and fun learning materials. Happy reading <3

Thanks for the helpful link. Still work at home with PS4 to accompany me. But will take some time to study as well.

Registered for N5 this July exam. Doubtful if it will go on, but at least can refund if exam was cancelled.
