My opinion differ from @rcracer sweat.gif but to each their own opinion...

if you dont know how to compound, its very hard work... i usually avoid compounding unless really needed... polish and wax already smooth

clay is to remove those fine particles that can scratch your paint when polishing or waxing...

try searching on youtube car detailing guides.. i usually follow AmmoNYC for steps and guide, very detailed explanation on why you should do each step and when its needed

car wax all the while using meguiars but recently change to soft99, you get what you paid for IMO... avoid turtle wax unless you going for the ice which is on par with meguiars, i find soft99 better than normal turtle wax.. all is personal review except the turtle wax ice

Have anyone try using vinegar and water to remove watermarks before polish and wax?
I read some articles, saying is safe but some said it would have more stains.

Can polishing remove the watermarks as well?

Thinking to buy Meguiars Ultimate Polish and Wax since my car is 2yrs old and color still looks fine.

Wow .. not overkilling it? I read in some forum, the Meguiars WAW can cause the windscreen to be hazy after using several times. In addition, damaging the wiper blade due to jutterring condition.

I'm using Meguiars W&W & Kit Car Shampoo.

Weekly quick wash using Kit Car Shampoo and if i got more time then slowly wash using Meguiars W&W and then cleaner wax.

I dont really polish too much, probably once every quarter.

Polish once a quarter is too much I believe. Polishing once a year seems much more acceptable. Anyway it could takes me up to a couple of months just to completely polishing a car because I do it by panel when I'm free. The rest of time I just use cleaner wax and sealant or wax.

I found osren 36 (rm40 for 300ml) works pretty good. I normally do it in 4 stages where I clay > hard pad with osren 36 > soft pad with 36 > wax or sealant.
