Be careful with the compound though. IMHO it depends on the existing condition of the paint now. If still relatively clean and shiny with just very light scratches/haze, then may not need to use the compound but just polish and wax. If condition is quite bad/looks cloudy then use the compound first. I may also suggest do claying first during wash to clean as much as possible.

I don't use expensive brands like Meguiars though, I just use Turtle Wax light polishing compound and Soft 99/Waxco cleaner & wax. I also have the claying kit I bought in AEON Jusco, forgot the brand but I think local brand, good enough.

Do you suggest that if my car is now doesn't need compound? Just polish and wax? How about clay

OK so the 'compound' that you meant is actually like the light polishing compound that I also use then, not the harder rubbing compound. SO in tat case then still ok.

How about clay?

Have anyone try using vinegar and water to remove watermarks before polish and wax?
I read some articles, saying is safe but some said it would have more stains.

Can polishing remove the watermarks as well?

Thinking to buy Meguiars Ultimate Polish and Wax since my car is 2yrs old and color still looks fine.

Meguiars polish > ultimate liquid wax > wash and wax > quik wax. Thats my plan

Wow .. not overkilling it? I read in some forum, the Meguiars WAW can cause the windscreen to be hazy after using several times. In addition, damaging the wiper blade due to jutterring condition.
