You used the stock adapter? If yes, then yeah, that's pretty normal. If you have an iPad adapter that will help immensely, otherwise get a USB-C PD adapter and a lightning to USB C cable.
*
Yes, i am using stock adapter. Do you think 2.0v out adapter helps? I have one Pineng adapter

yes, it is good enough. no need to buy the macbook usb-c charger + usb-c to lighting cable.
i totally never use the stock charger at all, use only ipad charger or any other 2.0A wall charger.

Can our phone battery cope with it? Because it supposes to be small input. Now not only double.

Has anyone compared the battery life difference on their X on iOS 11.4.1 and 12?

I clean-installed iOS 12 on my X and used it for about 10 days. Noted the faster depletion of battery. Not terribly fast, but still noticeably faster.

So I downgraded it back to 11.4.1 while Apple is still signing it. Again, a clean install of iOS 11.4.1 and with the same apps and settings and same usage pattern. The battery really lasted longer.

Do you manage to recover from your backup from ios12 to 11?

I backed-up everything on iTunes before updating to iOS 12 and then setup as new phone. When I downgraded to 11.4.1 and tried restoring, error popped up saying that 11.4.1 on my X was "too old" to restore the back-up  doh.gif

So, in the end had to set up the phone as new again after restoring 11.4.1.

And running the phone on 11.4.1 and 12 as 'new phones' made the battery life difference very obvious.

I am sory i cannot get you. I was thinking to downgrade too but i exprienced once i cannot restore my backup from itunes due to too old version.

May i know what can i do to get all my backup back into my phone? Via icloud?

I have failed to restore from my 11.4.1 “backup” eventhough I have downgraded to 11.4.1 on my X. So, I don’t dare to say more.

Time-consuming for sure to set-up the phone all over again. But the only backup I need restored is my Whatsapp messages. There was no problem to restore my Whatsapp as I have a separate backup in iCloud.
*
Now almost everything can be backed up via icloud, when you log in on ios11.4, can all the stock apps history like photos and contacts downloaded automatically? I assume whatsapp has no such issue.

Lucky to have downgraded back to 11.4.1 before the lock by Apple. Happy with this battery life on my X based on my typical usage pattern.

Requires paid apps. You may find from googles. It is about RM100++ for 3 times transfer

How old is your phone? Mine dropped to 98% after 8 months (with 140 charge cycles) of use. After updated to 12.0 and reverted back to 11.4.1, it increased back to 99%. So, it is not 100% accurate.

Can use the desktop app "coconut battery" (macOS, not sure Windows) to check the charge cycles.
*
The phone bought in April and it dropped to 96%, anyway to reduce its cycle?

cycle is a measue of how many total 100% you charge. so how to reduce? you can stop the cycle from increasing though.
*
Should I stop at 99%?

The battery experts claim that you should keep your charge level between 20%-80% to maximize your battery longevity - but I prefer to charge it to full every time.
*
I must see 100% everyday! Do you think overcharged will also cause drop of battery health in faster way?

I was always being told for gaming iphone is always the best? Sorry I had no idea as I don't game on both my iPhone and note9
*
I had the same thought until I tried Honor 8 Pro, P10 and now Mate9 (all with same processor) as my 2nd phone for gaming purpose.

The gaming experience improves when Huawei introduced GPU Turbo software into certain phones so I decided to use 2 phones.

I always have issue with iPhoneX when playing PUBG due to my palm accidentally touch the screen. Hence I need a phone with bezel to rest my palm while playing game.

Let's hope they will replace your phone as opposed to giving you a refurbished one with dead pixel like someone posted earlier
*
Don't scare him please...but it is quite abnormal to leave the phone there for 5-7 working day.

I did call Switch Penang and ask about the timeline, surprisingly, they can arrange same day collection if the appointment is not that peak.

After 4-5 hour how many % left? I will post my battery usage screen later...
Yesterday ply 1 round PUBG 100 > 70+ ... normal ma?
Wow, thank you so much... I used to set my screen brightness as auto...
*
I play PUBG too, 1 round around 20% -30% dropped depend on timing. For me, it is considered large battery consumption under medium setting.

I got another android phone, Honor Play, 20% max dropped per game, medium setting.

In conclusion, PUBG consume alot of battery and thus reduce the battery health percentage more quickly as it requires frequent charge...what say you

sometime i wondering why got certain people would like to buy a telco lock phone? what do they do? use it for sparepart? unlock the IMEI? fridge magnet? keychain?

does anyone know?
*
Spare parts - Yes
Unlock IMEI - can they?
Fridge magnet or keychain - this is interesting and i never thought of

Looking at the cost of iphone part compared to Huawei, the gap is like sky and ground. No doubt iphone user will look for locked unit to replace their broken part especially the screen and camera. I believe the other parts also quite valuable since it is original.

Thanks for your reply... I guess my battery is fine. But now is 91% health status

Android now battery is very good, my friend huawei also can tahan few day...

miss the IOS9 battery life 😭
*
My iphoneX also at 91% battery health. That figure is very annoying and like chasing me to change new battery.

Honestly, huawei is getting better since Mate 9 and P20 onwards. Even if you go for mid range also good enough, for a pubg player i meant.
