yes the battery life is really really bad now. Technically I need to bring power bank with me if I have heavy usage.

Taking 4K videos for one hour to two hours my phone will have no battery already.

Actually I dun mind to change the battery at apple but My screen is cracked so I am not sure if they will still replace the battery for me.

Replacement of the screen is too ex, almost can add a little bit to buy a brand new replacement unit from Carousell seller at sgd5xx.

i have the same issue. but i am not on ios 15, but still on ios 14. also same issue.

i think it is the whatsapp app's problem. it is still covered now.

any specific special feature on ios 15 that is worthwhile for iPhone X?

Yeah live text not available on iPhone X. Seems like for subsequent update from iOS 16 onwards will not have much new features on iPhone X too.

overall the iOS 15 works ok for iphone X.

however, there are two major problems that I noticed.
1) the battery life seems to be worse than iOS 14.
2) photo taking seems to take longer time to finish. it takes longer for the photos to be saved.

if u are good with iOS 14, can stick to it.

iOS 15 really has no significant must have features to upgrade.

The built-in metadata features for photos app is useful to me though.

My battery is totally cmi now. The battery health is now at 58% based on what shown in iOS. But I believe it is much worse than this.

I need to carry a powerbank with me whenever I go out.

I wanted to change the battery I could not becos my screen has crack so apple will not accept battery change until I change the screen which is no point since the screen replacement is not cheap.

Will simply change new phone instead.

One thing I noticed for iOS 15 on iPhone X makes the saving of photos slower in photos app after u take the photo with camera. Dun know why. Maybe the algorithm to process the photos changed.

yeah. will be getting a new iphone for sure. actually i still have spare unit of new iphone x, xs and xs max which i bought at cheap price but not yet started to use only.

will likely to wait for iphone 14 also.

iOS is ok generally but photo app is really slower than ios 14. this happens when I take a photo using the camera, it takes longer to save than before, last time maybe 1 to 2 secs to save, now at least 4 to 5 seconds. even when playing a existing video in the photo app, it will take few seconds delay before it starts playing the video. very very obvious slow down in this aspect.

i believe iOS 16 will certainly be in for iphone X. dun forget that even an 2 years older phone iphone 6s/6s plus/se still get ios 15.
at least iphone X should get until ios 17 if u ask me.

Quite stable than the previous 15.x. but seriously I regretted to upgrade to iOS 15 previously as I can see significant drop in the performance of camera after iOS 15. The capturing of photos on iOS 15 takes longer time than before. And now the background app also stays shorter which for example I was playing a game and switch to camera to take a photo, and went back to the game it will be reloaded.

Around rm300++ if u replace at apple authorised dealer. and only do it there. Dun go for third party battery.

The latest iOS 15 really makes the battery of iPhone X bad. I have a brand new battery for my iPhone X. It also makes it very hard for the battery to last.

Yeah upgrading this year for iPhone 14 Max or 14 Pro Max.

I think I still prefer one single device for on the go.

Without the need to bring iPad around and can still enjoy bigger screen for most of the stuff is good.
