Anyway, wanted to know, would you guys use a custom made wheel for your gerbils? If you guys visit Mr. Z's thread, the wheel for hedgehogs.... he is now asking for a smaller size for gerbils if we want loh.

For the mesh wheel.... see if can get or not from supplier.... I think if we all get 2, we would have enough demand for the supplier(Super Pet) to bring in..... I saw their catalog when jtl showed me..... nice lah that wheel.... really hope can bring in but if tak jadi, I think next best thing is the wheel we can get locally.

There was also 2 Jerboas there (kept in the reptile section. Jerboa is a close family to gerbils as they live in the dessert too but have longer hind legs and tail.) Looking as poorly as the gerbil's condition

My gerbil got stuck before.. she struggled about 3-5 secs then she sat down with the toilet roll pointing up straight.. after a few more secs later she managed to get herself unstuck. No harm was done though.. since then I monitor my gerbils whenever I put in toilet roll.. (honestly I was laughing like hell when she sat down with the toilet roll pointing up.. it's as if she's saying 'oh great... now what... zzzzz' )
