they are ok though... but then i not sure wat will happen la...

then take out... then after few hours then put in back again...

coz if rusted on gerbils might get into biting it, but mine i didnt see them so that.
those said can stick on glass vacumm thing is a plastic this already rite.
when ever there is a plastic thing inside the tank, if the gerbils get hold of them then will chew them up one.
jus like water bottle, if u wanna put inside tank then diy a cage for it, if not then jus like hun burn a hole at the tank there and put the bottle.
u can use the silicon to glue back, but then sometimes it wont function as the original one.
the one i use now being bite a hole at the top of it, so i now try glue it use uhu gam...
yesterday and set it up then now see how lo, whether got leak or not, but then luckily no leak.

thanks for your compliment, in some point they wont bite the bottle, they will jus bite the wire, but sometimes if some of the edge that they can find then they might bite, but possibility is very rare la.

jus give them sometimes, mine also like that. especially for the male, female still ok.
the male i have now also like that, is like totally scared of me,
when i wanna to get hold of him, he run, when manage to get hold, then i put on my palm, he same like u, dig and nip(not bite), and in the same time, he crawl very hard, mostly feel hurt a bit, not from nip, but from crawl.
but then now still ok already, not so scared, but i still no take him out la, jus put my hand inside the tank and play with him.
let him use to my hand then only try to take it out and play.
all u need is jus patient, jus give them sometime and u try to give more time to play with them, dun neglect them.

for the wire part, u need to check it frequently
if those of your gerbils didnt chew the wire then is ok.
if for those chew one, then u need to make sure the wire not rusted
and when u clean it also make sure u not rust it, if got water on it jus wipe it off, basic science logic.
like hao said, still cant find any hazard info about it, so jus to make sure all the thing is ok lo

Added on September 11, 2007, 5:07 amurgent urgent, i found out my clan's tank being attack by mites...
i not sure whether is mites or not, i all tiny tiny thing that crawl around the tank.
source from the mealworm that i keep.
how to handle it...

i now on doing this, about gerbils, how to check on them whether they got attack by mites.
yesterday i found my pied lilac tank affect the most serious, the thing crawl all around her tank, so i clean her tank in the middle of night, haha...
then other tank jus affect the lid only.
but then today check again still got, guess need to clean all the bedding and let the tank sun "basking"...
if my gerbs body really attack by mites, how to clean it, my pied lilac now is under sand bathing...

mite bird spray??? where can i get those thing ?
jus go normal bird store then have already or normal fish shop?

sad case, my pied lilac being attack by my yellow fox mom and kids...
now like in a bad shape... ear, below mouth, one of the front foot, tail got blood...
now being quarantine and observe see how... no have med, tomolo need to go and buy it...
i let them together jus like last time, so this time i let them be togehter lo,
thought wil be ok cause previously i been doing this for very long time already
so i walk away for a time period, then come back see she lay down at there,
she like no energy like that, got movement though...

updated, my pied jus died today morning...
go there and see her, and she already hard...
lost one nice gerbils...
thought bring her back from the nasty pet shop to have better life.
but then she not live long...

if can, post up the picture of his/her whole body.

hun, nice pups over there... too bad i still cant find any colour to breed out my yellow fox...
they do drop fur, that day i put them for sand bathing, after that then i filter the sand, find out got a lot of fur, but that is the fur for 7 gerbs la... hehe...
hmm... overgroom, so far my gerbs all still ok,

hmm ya lo... i also not sure what to berred also, maybe if want then just breed it in order to carry on the gene of her
