totally agree on this point.. in the long run, the inability of our strikers to score goal will haunt the team's effort for trophies..

based on current performance, i think giroud is a better choice. he can hold the ball and linked well with hazard/willian and the midfielders.

i think the 1-1 draw is a fair result. liverpool pushed hard and got the goal that they were looking for.

what a goal by sturridge. i don't think kepa or any other goallie can do anything about it.

Well played Chelsea, fair result for both sides. Hug and huge grins from both manager says it all. We both have many chances and missed almost all of them. Credit to the two most expensive keepers in the world as well proving their worth.

The most frustrating thing would he hazard's second chance though...haih. We really could have easily got a second goal early in the second half. Fair result with two cracking strikes.

Morata actually had one big contribution in stealing possession from van dijk and laying it off to moses who had his shot blocked. Almost snatched it late on.

He started last season missing lots of chances as well so this isn't exactly new. Part of it I suspect is his shoulder still isn't fully recovered yet as he is recently spotted still wearing a band around it. Once a shoulder dislocates it will never be the same again, it's one of the more easily recurring injuries in sport.

But of course the mental block is building up on him even more now after last season. With each missed chance he will be even more eager to score one but that split second of lingering doubt could be the difference between scoring and Rudiger making a goal saving block.
