Maurizio Sarri has hinted that he might need a Sports Psychologist in order to understand what hails Chelsea.

The Blues slumped to a narrow 1-0 defeat to Leicester City and that was their first home loss this season. Although the manager understands how hard it is working with a sports psychologist, he does not rule it out entirely.

"No, Not at the moment, because it's not easy. I had a sports psychologist 15 years ago. In Italy, it was really very difficult because the clubs were not ready at that moment, but I think they are not ready also at this moment. [That was] my experience in Italy.” Sarri responded to a question on whether he is considering hiring one.

Meanwhile, Chelsea will visit Watford for their Boxing Day fixture and Sarri believes that his side is ready to face the opponents and added that it is his belief that the players are not fatigued for the gruelling tie.

"I don't know [what it's like] here. We can talk about this [with the club]. Why not? It's clear we didn't lose for the way of playing. We were a bit unlucky and then we lost because the reaction after the goal was in the wrong direction, I think. We had only to continue [playing the same way]. We were in full control of the match. We were dangerous without conceding anything to the opponents, so we had only to continue.

"We have players with a large number of minutes in the Premier League, but not in the season, so I don't think so. The physical performance in the match against Bournemouth was one of the best this season for quantity, one of the best in quality, for a number of accelerations, for high-speed [sprints]. I think it's impossible to change the physical condition in two minutes. We were on the pitch very well for 55 minutes and then after two minutes, after the goal, we were in trouble. I think there is another reason, not the physical condition.” the gaffer added while speaking to ESPN.

Despite of the rough patch of games recently. I think Sarri needs to stay for 1 more season. Give him a full pre season and full transfer window, see how he works with the budget and his players.

When team is performing, all hail him. Now rough patch, put Sarri on chopping block? A bit unfair imo. He join us quite late in the transfer window right I rmb. Let him work his stuff for 1 full season. See how it goes. I dont want us to be the old Arsenal. Play nice football, but keep finishing 4th and winning FA cup. lol

We still need someone to play Hamsik's role. Someone that is good in attacking, scoring, and assist. Currently the role being shared within RLC, Barkley, Kovacic. Each of them is good, but not Hamsik's level. And also, our striker....

sarri insisted that there is no need to add another striker in january transfer window.. perhaps an early indication of a coach with low ambition. well, the biggest club (and expectations) he ever managed before chelsea was napoli..

half a season gone already and i still have doubt with his system. particularly with the decision to play kante out of position. we are talking about a world-class DM here. and jorginho is just a glorified mikel (on square passes) and provided no protection for our back four..

he plays more in a 2 man partnership, in Leicester and under Conte. he wins balls back in the middle of the pitch. under Sarri, its more or less the same, but just higher up the pitch because we play a high line now instead of Conte/Mourinho's low block now.

give him more time under Sarri. Mancity also took a while to get going, so did Liverpool. Conte had the spine and personnel of Mourinho and they both are defensive managers who rely on counter atks. this is totally new system and everybody needs to adapt. Kovacic is more flexible and all round talent. he can fit in any 3 of the CM roles. CM-wise i think we are quite stacked. RLC Barkley Kovacic Kante Jorginho Fabregas. good mixture of promising youth and world class talents.
yep, the biggest problems imo now is
defensive gaps on the left, Alonso -  Luiz push up too high and opponents will exploit that area. on the right its solid with Rudiger - Azpi.

wingers- Willian gets picked because he runs hard but not creative enough and no end product. hitting 30, better cash him in instead. Pedro is more effective as goal threat and someone who does defensive lifting.

biggest problem is goal scorers. Hazard and Pedro is our highest goalscorer meanwhile our strikers... 1 win WC with no goals or shots and the other fella... is worse than Torres.

Chelsea needs to sort this out :
LB CB RW ST, providing we can keep CHO and Hazard as well.

When there is a chance to consolidate top 4 spot, we always failed. With Arsenal and MU close behind, why must Chelsea players always make it harder than it suppose to be... sien watching the teams play without urgency to win it from the game start.
