do the following may help smile.gif

check your Unifi Dashboard on the portal . Is it 100Mbps plan now.

Check your PC lan internet connection . Is it 1 Gpbs

check your Lan cables from BTU to router to PC . is what CAT ?

Test using wifi on wireless AC . what is speed ?

What smartphone are you using for the test ?

I am on 300Mbps plan and have 3 cellphone
Xiaomi Poco get 325 Mbps
Samsung S7 get 305 Mbps
Samsung S3 get 140 Mbps
All test on 5GHz AC wireless.
your cellphone does matter smile.gif

you have about a similar configuration as mine. my unifi plan is 100Mbps.
at ground floor is a ASUS AC1300 getting full speed of 100Mbps on AC5G and 2.4G
on first floor is a AP router ASUS 14uhp getting 85Mbps on 2.4G

so just replace the first floor with a good AC router first and test the speed .
I guess you should get about 100Mbps on the second floor from your AP router .

you should be able to get 500mbps on wired.
check your LAN cables .

Log in and check your dashboard info on the unifi portal .
you should see Unifi 100Mbps at the top of the page

if not i guess something went wrong . sad.gif

On the My Activity page you should see a ticket open around date / time of your visit to TM .

Login your Unifi account and look at the top left .. you should see the word Turbo 300Mbps rclxms.gif


or go on Chat Unifi and ask Status of your Account .

instruction to use unifi TV via Apps. on Smart TV or Android Box

open the unifi TV login page on your PC or laptop.

your user is xxxx@iptv

select forget password.
select send password to email.
you should get a mail .
click on the Link in the mail.
input your new password ..
Enter

you will get message '' Congratulations ..... rclxms.gif

if you have a Samsung Smart TV you can open the unifi play TV App and log in
if you have Android box open the App and log in.

i guess this smart Tv is imported and not from Samsung malaysia . hence playTV is not installed.

check your samsung TV apps store on your TV. if you find playTV you can install.
if not try call Samsung local support for help.

the UI for UnifiTV app is not the same as STB.


I have Unifi playTV preloaded on my Samsung model MU6100 Flat Smart 4K UHD TV purchase last year
Check your samsung TV apps store if you can find the apps.

you can view all channels as in the ultimate plan . same channels as for your STB .
pix quality is about same as STB.

1. No dial tone means a fault .

2. the TEL1 light should be BLINKING on an incoming call.

I noted TM installed a new BTU and promise the tel old number.
I guess your TEL1 light is off .

if above is right , then i guess TM have not configure this number on their system yet.

if they promise 48 hours ,
then i suggest you go on Chat to open a trouble ticket.

yes i guess so .

it s because you wanted the old number .
the installer need to wait for the disconnection of tel number from streamyx , and the re connection to the unifi system .
he has no configuration rights to the online systems.

I was like wow okay since even the TM or Maxis unable to do that I have all bet on the Agent. He submitted 100Mbps as a new application so when they installed I will need to Terminate my previous contract. I see some people shared they just simply request to upgrade form 30 Mbps to 100 Mbps but I unable to and I think 100 Mbps it's every sufficient.

I am really excited to see how things works. So tomorrow is the last day for the SMS. The agent even tell me if you never received any SMS on Monday just let him know he'll do the needful.

interesting case.

1. if you move to 100Mbps plan and your speedtest say get 35Mbps . Are you going to make a complain why you not get 100 Mbps
There are obvious reason why TM cap copper line i guess .

2. You may or may not have a better web experience after the 100Mbps upgrade.
Many factors in play here. how good is that copper line and at higher transmissions rates the data error rise .

3. Lines with high data error places a higher cpu load on the systems . somewhere performance will suffer.
just my thoughts.

I was on 30Mbps plan with Jumbo lite, STB and upgrade to 100Mbps 129rm on 12 sept.
i still can use my STB and still have Jumbo lite .
my new plan now 100Mbps Lite . already nearly 1 month on this plan.

I dont know for how long this will be.

when i was at TMpoint to upgrade , I wanted them to change out my wireless router
for this they told me better get a new contract 2years. I dont mind the contract as i have been with Unifi for 5 years and no issues.
now this new TM router is my spare. as i have an Asus.

TM did come to replace the the router a week later.

i guess you need to talk to them ... seems somethings are possible depends how to talk to them. biggrin.gif
