Just changed at TmPoint Bukit Raja..early early a lot ppl dy..haha
800mbps turbo to 100mbps
129+30 for ultimate unifitv 159+6% sst = rm167
the person said if 129 excusive sst no unifitv, only online can watch..
family got watch that unifitv using stb..so no choice need to subscribe..but now from ruby+ upgrade to ultimate only add rm30 instead of rm60..they said is promotion price now..
No turbo is allowed..fix at 100mbps dy..ask why, company fix dy..not a huge deal i dont need so much..
2years contract
1year extend warranty for btu, phone, stb and others
in 3days will activate the new plan..
say bye bye to 800mbps which i never gonna achieve the speed haha..
*
tmpoint told me the same thing, but after my order complete, i still can watch it

My TM modem is the Innatech 4332. That one has no gigabit ports
*
doesn't matter, when you get turbo / subscribe 100mbps they will come and change your router.

Nice router. Seems to be the newest router they are issuing now, but still having that Unifi logo is annoying as andthere is '@unifi' on SSID ? Plus there will definitely be TR-069 implemented in the router 🙄
*
yep, got, what exactly is TR-069 ?

I have my own..but why is there a different treatment for different customers? Some were offered even when they have newer equipment while customers like me on old equipment arent offered? Why should I be satisfied when others who are paying the same are equipped with better peripherals when I am stuck with the old ones?
*
they will only change if previous router cannot support new speed.

Thats what I thought, but if you read through this forum you will see that is not the case. They will change ikut suka hati aja.. I have issue with my router pun they don't want to change (still under warranty), but others no issue just renew contract dah dapat. To me this is not a fair practice and should not be tolerated.

I get that you can buy your own you can control what you get etc. which I agree to and have spent money on equipment and rewired my house etc. but at the very least I should get a router that is working from them. Ni my router is not functioning and I can't get a replacement.
*
cannot support and broken router are 2 separate issue though.

a telemarketer from UNIFI always bugged me to subscribe to the unifi rm129-100mbps at my landed area, because the port is recently available. Currently using 8mbps streamyx for rm88.

do they get commission from this?or should i go to TMpoint and try to get a better deal?
*
theres no better deal, only 1 deal
