Hi, would like some advise. my unifi just got turbo-ed to 800mb. when i test the speed using LAN, i can get full speed. but Using wifi 5 GHZ i only can get around 200mb from iphone 10 speedtest. i am using asus ac68u router. Do i need to upgrade to better router to get higher speed on wifi?

My unifi also upgrade to 800mbps but I can't get full speed even I change all my network cable to Cat 6.

My router is TP-Link AC1200 provide by TM

Can just set the lan ip of the router to a different subnet and disable dhcp. Boom the router becomes a switch and a backup ap at the same time (i do that at home)

My 'CRAP' TP-Link C1200 is also serving me well too

Although the wifi over 2.4GHz is 110Mbps but it is good enough

Want a max 300Mbps just plug in LAN cable will do

Too bad my laptop has only 2.4GHz and I am not planning to buy an adapter for 5GHz

My Sony Xperia Z5P also doesn't really give good reading on 5Ghz, guess it is due to the wifi for my phone then

I tried the one you are using and weird it gave me random reboot once/twice a day when I am using the internet

So I got no choice but to use the beta and at least it is running with same IP touch wood for almost 2 days now

I don't really see the additional features for Beta but more on the fix for my router random rebooting

I got sick and tired waiting to 800mbps turbo, today went to TMpoint and changed my plan to current 100mbps package advertised on their website.

Waited for 40 mins, settled in 10 mins, account updated after 2 hours.
Save RM70 a mth moving forward.

None of my devices can touch 800mbps on wifi so no point to invest in new expensive routers.

yet not all subscribers been turboed then wannna introduce new plan.

any internal info regarding free turbo upgrade progress?

Looks like another plan that will backfire at TM if they don’t complete Turbo upgrade for eligible customers.

Any idea when? Maybe they think that most people have already switched to the new 100M and thus ready to bring out the lower packages.

I wonder will current RM139 30mbps be able to change to the soon to launch RM99 50mbps plan? In a way it is still considered an upgrade if we talk about the speed right?
