for those using vdsl highrise, it's better wait Times instead of Maxis, the Times coverage was way aggressive on high rise, last week, mine and neighbor apartment were not offer Times, but some further away were. i check again by yesterday, Times had supported to my neighbor apartment.

Just wanna share what I encountered today with TM. They came to my high rise condo which is still running on copper wires right up to each unit and my management office informed the owners to come meet TM to ask about the turbo status and so some of us including myself went to meet the TM reps who came and setup their booth next to my management office for today and tomorrow.

When I came they asked if I wanted the RM129 plan @ 100mbps or I want to turbo my existing subscription of 30mbps to 300mbps and I said I want to turbo of course and they asked for some details like account and phone number and they will prioritize those who walk in to meet them by upgrading them first before the rest of the units.

So I asked how they will do it and their answer was they will pull individual fibre optic cables to each unit as they have already laid the groundwork at the bottom of each high rise block weeks before which I did notice TM trucks coming in and my management office said they were doing some 'maintenance work'. As I was talking to one of the TM staff there, I noticed the other staff who took my details sending the info she got from me to their office for immediate processing. There were quite a lot of TM staff who were at my condo and tomorrow I reckon they will be swarmed by rest of the residents for the upgrade.

So there you have it high rise TM customers, TM will upgrade your locations depending on their schedule. If you do happen to see those TM vans or trucks going in and out of your high rise for a few days doing 'maintenance', I reckon your place will soon be turbo-ed too.
