Manage to get a technician to come and check why I not getting 800mbps after turbo.  The router C1200 is the problem..
Got any router recommended that not so pricey? I am thinking to downgrade to the 100 mbps package also.
Feel not worth need to spend extra money for this turbo upgrade doh.gif
*
You mean this TP-Link AC1200 ?
https://www.tp-link.com/us/products/details...cher-C1200.html

This wireless router have no problem to get 800Mbps on wired & on wireless it can get 280Mbps +/-
Please check the wireless router settings such as QoS & NAT boost etc

Already in these setting. May be this is d default setting.

Check the network cables minimum Cat5e, recommended Cat6. If still face the same problem , report to TM & they dispatch on-site tech to check & reset the ports.

Anyone know what’s the issue? I didn’t touch any of the setting for the AC86U

Refer to this posting:
FA and CTF do not exist on the RT-AC86U. They are replaced by Packet Runner and Flow Cache.

putra heights... turboed to 500Mbps but using the LAN Cat5e only managed to get 150Mbps DL and UL is 101Mbps  vmad.gif .... router is TP-link C7....

tested with 5Ghz using my laptop come with intel AC 8265 wifi adapter and the speed also the same....  vmad.gif
i had checked the hardware properties.... Ethernet speed between laptop and router is 1Gbps.... wifi and router is 500Mbps.... from router to the fiber termination box is 1000 Mbps full duplex...

logged a complaint with TM and they will send technical team to my house to investigate... i need to pay for it RM50+  vmad.gif  vmad.gif

Pull up the CPU utilisation from task manager & run the speed test. If the CPU hit 100% when the download speed max out 150Mbps, it is your PC limitation.

No lah how can 150Mbps bring a 7300U to its knees. My 4850HQ no probs with 500Mbps.
*
This is what i encountered, wired with CAT6 cables.
Unifi 800Mbps Turbo + Mikrotik RB1100AHx2
i5-2520m= 336Mbps (CPU utilisation at 100%)
i7-930 = 628Mbps
i7-720QM = 833Mbps
i7-4710HQ = 803Mbps

All Windows? Did the Microsoft/Intel microcode updates help with the CPU%?

Mine from a few weeks ago.

This is what I get during an iperf3 test. MacBook receiving.

MacBook is a Core i7-4850HQ, MacOS 10.13.6. Gigabit USB if that makes a difference. Microcode 0x25. (0x1a is the latest.)
Server is a Core i5-4570T. Ubuntu 18.0.4 LTS. All patches up to L1TF.

The MacBook is now on the latest 0x1a microcode but I've not retested it yet.

-.- That is even worse.

The old (spectre) microcode is fully integrated into build 1809.

If you are using 1803, one can manually remove the related microcode KBxxxxxxxx.
No chance of doing so with 1809.

It gonna take 'several months' for microsoft to roll out latest microcode (spectre-ng + foreshadow), if you can't handle the high CPU usage when utilizing your turbo 800Mbps.........
Fully disable spectre protection?

Thanks for the advise. It is good to share with the public that Meltdown/Spectre in directly affected the network speed.

No, they changed my old modem (grey color) to Huawei Echolife HG8240H.
The DLINK AC1200 they took back.

I'm using my own Asus AC68U

TM Unifi start cutting cost by not providing new BTU, wireless router, cordless phone & STB. On-site tech testing your current equipment as long as it can support the subscribed package speed you won't get new devices.

True, but you have to request for it. If you don't say anything, then they won't bother.
*
If request, it will cost the end user RM50+ on-site fees sweat.gif
