QUOTE(pokchik @ Sep 18 2018, 03:27 PM) If you don't have any contract with TM, I propose switch to TIME. then record a video of you smashing your orange TM router and post it here. May I know why you say that? I am still undecided between Time vs Unifi. Please enlighten me. Thanks.

Finally cut my ties from TM after more than 10 years. From Streamyx at 1 Mbps to Unifi at 5 Mbps & finally to Unifi at 10 Mbps. I have to say that had no issue with TM, service was good and they will always respond when there's technical issue. Being the only provider at my place, I have no other options.
Moving to a new place that has Time Internet available and the package is too attractive to resist, Time's 100 Mbps at RM99 vs Unifi's 100 Mbps at RM129.
This is when my problem with TM started. TM requires a 1 month notice for termination, I send them an official e-mail to terminate but they were late to review it, therefore my notice period only starts when they key in the request into their system. Had to go back & forth with them to finalise it.
Tried to cancel my auto debit but TM said that only the bank can do it. Contacted the bank and said it is TM responsibility. Contacted TM again but they gave me a round around till the payment was auto debited.
For termination, I need to return the BTU back to TM Point. Luckily I checked TM website for an actual TM point as some authorised dealer advertised themselves as a TM Point which they are not. Termination can only be done at an official TM Point only. Most TM Point near me is at an area where parking is limited and the place is small and packed with people. Went to the one in Kepong early morning & after close to 1 hour waiting, I finally surrender my BTU and terminate my TM account.
Thank you TM for all those years. You could have done better to your customers but you choose to stand pat and milk the customers as much as you can. It takes the new government to issue a directive before you decided to give your customers better offering.
My apology for the long rant.
