Just checked my neighbour wifi using TM wifi optimiser, already turboed to 800mbps while my lite upgrade still pending

if you also on wifi, don't forget to consider Mu-MIMO capabilities too instead of only gigabit LAN. thus, dir-842 has both. RM250 you can get it, some place maybe cheaper.

Disclaimer: This is not a standard package, so you can try your luck if you want. Like I said mine was a special case and it was a long fight but turned out something favorable for me. A surprise indeed.

Tips: You can do this if you have two UniFi TV packages, so try to negotiate politely with TM on this. If others are paying only RM 159 for 800Mbps, so everything is possible. If you don't have two UniFi TV packages, the fight may be difficult for you.

Go through TM first and if that fails, try MCMC. However, I think TM has a lot of complaints to handle so it will take longer time to have it attended.

So now there are RM 99 for 100Mbps, RM 129/149 for 500Mbps, RM 159 for 800Mbps. Good luck to TM to fix the pricing.

Yeah, I was demanding for 800Mbps all this while but turned out like this.
All in. Internet, UniFi TV and free calls.
Actually mine is RM 129..

Summary:
I was from RYE 100 paying for RM 189. Went to TM Point of changing plan to 129 for 100Mbps plan but staff retained me and said I can get Turbo in two weeks. Still not convinced to pay RM 189 since I have Ultimate and Ruby, I asked to remove Ruby to save RM 30. Staff tried but system didn't allow, only can remove Ultimate and brought down the price to 179. I agreed. Long story short, I got my Turbo 3 weeks later but instead of 800, they only upgraded me to 500. I questioned them, they said my pricing is too low and 500 is what Product team agreed. This time they said my package is only RM 169. I thought 179? Never mind. Fought hard because I deserved for 800, still failed. Escalated to MCMC but yet to be picked up by TM. Latest bill came out yesterday and it was 129. A surprise. So, you see, I didn't fight for it.

Assumption: TM screwed up their billing and cannot fix back. Sekian.
For 159 already included Ultimate as far as I understand.
